Definitely not worth it. At all. It seems like it was a slow day for them, and they were not even in the mood to give us an experience. Paid $90.00 dollars for absolutely nothing. Me and my partner both did the glass view point, which was amazing and breathtaking. Great views from up there, but we were done in 15 minutes… I didn’t mind cause I do not like heights but that definitely felt rushed towards my partner who enjoys things as such and taking photos. Then my partner did the zip line on his own, which was just a one trip down? Just once? For what we paid, which included photos, we’d expect for someone to maybe go down at least 3 times? It did say duration was 30 minutes…this was done in 7 minutes and it gets worse, a complimentary drink is included, so we head down to the bar, where the waitress who approached us seem to be having a horrible day, decided to tell us we cannot overlook by the balcony into the city on that floor because it’s for guest only. We honestly just wanted to see what it looked like from this floor, we wanted to see the view and after paying $90.00 and having a 22 minute altogether experience, we can’t look? Insane! We lost our mood at this point and just decided to have the complimentary drinks, which only included white/red wine or juice… and let me just say, this placed the cherry on top, we asked for two white wines, which seemed to have been poured for sample tasting only. A drop of wine per glass. Definitely not worth it. We waited 2 days to receive my partners photos of the zip line, which only happened to be 3 photos… lol. I was baffled. Great view of Panama, but this is not worth it. We left super disappointed compared to how excited we were on going. You are better off going to Roatan, Honduras, were you do 17 to 20 lines down the mountain with amazing views of the jungle for only $55 PP and it includes...
Read moreI’ve visited POIN Panama twice now, and while the concept is unique, the experiences left me a bit underwhelmed. The Dinner in the Sky was visually impressive but overall average, the three taster meals didn’t justify the steep price tag. That said, the host was fantastic and the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, which helped elevate the experience.
The staff were kind enough to book our group of 7, although a minimum of 10 was required. Part of the group did arrive late and they were quite accommodating. I give them 5 stars on customer service and understanding.
On a previous visit, I tried the swing , a quick adrenaline jolt, but the thrill wore off almost immediately. I also walked the Sky Deck. Honestly, I’m not sure why that part needs a separate fee; it felt like paying just to walk around.
There are other activities to do such as the edge, ziplining (some in my group opted for this) and climbing. When booking the activities you do have free access to the museum and virtual tour of Panama which gave you a brief history of Panama.
Overall, Cool concept and stunning views, but it feels like they’re banking more on the novelty than the substance. Worth checking out once if you’re curious, but manage your...
Read moreI visited Poin Panama after reading about it in a guidebook. We spent quite a bit of time there as it was our last day in Panama, and the views were simply breathtaking. We did the zipline, which I thoroughly enjoyed, ens the swings that scared the living daylights out of me. I do not have a fear of height, but a healthy respect. The activities we USD30 per person per activity. It was very popular although we didn't have to wait long for our turm. Also, it is impossible to have a break in between activities. We went to two restaurants while there. I can not remember their names, but the main restaurant taking up most of the space on the deck had great food and very nice cocktails. We had a long, lazy lunch there while being treated to unrivaled views. For dinner we went to the burger restaurant which was another great choice. Amazing burgers and plenty to drink. We did and experienced so many amazing things in Panama, and for me, this was the perfect way to spend our last afternoon into the evening. I will definitely go back to the Poin Panama on...
