The interior was fun, lots of books and art around the cafe. Penguin statues and a basket of blankets in case your legs gets cold while sitting. There are four sets of playing cards on the shelf if you can make friends.
Some staff members can speak English and seem happy to conversate.
The wifi works well and there is a outlet strip underneath one table in front of the cashier but I couldn't find another. So a bit inconvenient due to the fact that I couldn't see my phone while it was charging, but Japanese lifestyle tends to make me think stealing just doesn't happen as often here.
It got quite busy at lunch and the place can fill up fast. There are 5 four person tables, 2 two person tables and 1 small coffee table with two seats. There is outside seating but the weather was too snowy to enjoy on our visit.
The food was well made and balanced. The breakfast was simple and just enough to keep us going throughout the day. The plain bagel sandwich was alright but I would probably just order toast next time. The boyfriend got a waffle set and he had a small saucer of syrup which he seemed satisfied with. There is free ice water but I would recommend getting a warm drink instead.
