Really solid Japanese fusion cuisine for a small mountain town. It’s one of the only places in Huaraz that offers perfectly grilled salmon or trout (salmon/trucha a la plancha). Most places only offer “a la Parilla” which is too heavy and coated in unnecessary sauces. The sushi rolls here are also pretty good. The golden maki is probably my favorite. I would skip the ramen. I had the veggie ramen and it didn’t taste like anything.
The decor is more upscale and elegant than other places, but oddly enough, they also offer tabletop sets of miniature foosball for customers to play while waiting for their food, so the atmosphere ranges from upscale to bar-like...
Read moreYesterday me and my boyfriend went to the restaurant, because we wanted to treat our self with a good meal. We both had a poke bowl with salmon. The dish was completely soaked in dressing, so it was hard to taste anything else, we did not even finish it before we both felt wierd in the stomach. Today we are both laying in bed with diarrhea. And before we ordered the dinner we asked if the fish was fresh and the waiter said “yes of course”. Obviously not!
