Mariel Hotel Boutique — Hotel in Lima Metropolitan Area

Location is very convenient to the various markets around the area. Walkable to the Kennedy park and parks along the cliff. Friendly staff and always so helpful. The room was a bit tight but there was enough space for us with three single beds. Beds were okay, AC ran properly with no lids on it (if you know what I'm talking about). The window had a blackout shade. The bathroom, provided a wall mounted shampoo - but I used my own - and bar soaps. Pretty spacious counter in the bathroom but the sink didn't drain properly and so slowly - like it got clogged or something (reported to the front desk and someone came to fix it, yet it was still the same). Shout out to Marco who helped us to get a car service to go to a friend's house. Free breakfast from 7-10am on the mezzanine floor. Basic hotel is safe neighbourhood

In April 2025, our room 303 (3F) was clean and had a comfortable double bed with a noisy air conditioner and good Wi-Fi-reception. Our outside window had no view. Maintenance could be better. Breakfast buffet was empty and it the staff took a long time for to replenish it. Options are limited.

Dirty and in poor condition. Stay somewhere else. This is the worst place we stayed in Peru. Our room was dirty when we arrived like it had never been cleaned. There was dust and dirt everywhere: under the beds, along the baseboards, on the lampshades. The room itself wasn't in good condition. The paint was cracking, and the baseboards were scratched.
