I have been to Lima many times now, but yet I am always surprised each time I visit. Glotons was an amazing surprise!
So we were in a weird transition time, where we had to kill a day in Lima before heading back to the States. One of our friends picked us up at Jorge Chavez and was taking us towards Miraflores. I don't think I have ever taken this route before.
It was later in the day, but we stopped here for a late lunch. It was empty, which I'm not surprised because I was told at Midnight and after, it would have a line point down the street. After trying the food, I'm not surprised. We all ordered the classics, Aji de Gallina, Lomo Saltado, Seco de Res, and Chicharrones de pollo and a couple of Carafes of Chicha Morada.
All were wonderful! I have tried all of those dishes many times in many different places and countries, but this might be one of the best.

Is the place we go after calling it quits from partying, early in the morning (before sunrise). Granted that locals eat different but late at night, when in Rome, do as Romans. Read moreOne of my favourite places in the area for take aways in a day in the office or any day even after a night out because this is 24/7! They only pause thirty minutes at 7:00 am to clean and that's it. It offers a wide variety of options on their menu for different tastes, very affordable. It has a nice outside area with a glass wall if you fancy eating outdoors while watching the dawn and people walking around.
