Wow! This place is amazing. I had the menestron. The beef was the perfect texture, the caldo de gallina was really good, one of the best ive tried (not quite as good as some abuelas make in the sierra but probably the best ive had in a restaurant) I also liked the hierba luisa con limon, we're here in Lima for a week, we will be back before we leave, despite the line! Really its worth the wait and the few extra soles from other cheaper (cheap is a price and a quality ;) ) places Update second visit. The service was spectacular this time around we altered the dish a bit asked for extra ginger in the chicken soup, which was even better this time than last... the calientito was a terrific hot tea with pisco.. and this night there was patasco soup which is a beef bone broth with mandingo and select cut of beef and more (hominy like corn) we're so impressed with the quality of the food, especially for the price.... I'd consider it inexpensive for what you're getting delivered!!⁸

I went twice this week. The first visit was ok. Server was rude. Carla was her name. It looked like it bothered if people asked questions. Rude, short and not very accommodating throughout the meal, but at the time of collecting payment and asking if we wanted to leave her a tip, het whole Demeanor went from cero to a thousand. We decided to come back and it was definitely the last time we would step foot in that stablishment. After a 50 minute line at the door, a lady came out and started taking down names and asking for party sizes. Then 15 minutes later, she started Calling the bigger parties mind you, people who were at the end of the line (THE NERVE) at that point I wanted to leave. But we stayed, we should have. After an hour and 20 minutes we were told the only place available to sit was at the bar counter where thet pack the togo orders. We agreed. And from there everything went wrong. We were able to see that the person cutting the cooked chicken was not wearing gloves, grabing them with his bare hands and placing them in people's plates. There was another person grabbed the pasta in the soup with her hands to remove them, I guess some people order with less pasta and more broth. This place is so busy but lacks better and safer practices. We were just disgusted, asked for the bill. Did not touch that food because I couldn't get that image off my head. Sorry but go somewhere else and avoid getting sick.

This place is simply amazing! You cannot be in Lima without taking some time to enjoy one of their fabulous soups. There is a specialty soup per day, but they still offer some other soups everyday. We went on Sunday night, around 10:45 p.m. The line was forming outside; we were able to enter 15 minutes later. The wait is so worth it. The place is very ample, the areas are neat, the bathrooms are clean and ample as well. Service is fast. While you wait, enjoy the varieties of bread they bring you. The sweet potato bread is exquisite. I am not a bread person, but their bread is out of this world. We ordered a "sopa criolla," and it was definitely amazing! Try their lemonade with lemongrass and ginger. Delicious! I am ordering Shambar soup today. It is a soup with a variety of beans and meats. It is a thick soup that will certainly leave you satisfied and happily full! Yum, yum!!! 😋😋😋😍

Finally made it to Siete sopas! This restaurant is open 24/7 which is awesome! They have 1 special soup they make each day and 2 staple soups they always have which is caldo de gallina and sopa criolla. The caldo de gallina is a broth with potato and spaghetti and a piece of chicken. The broth was good but I did not care for the spaghetti as they were too thick and not cooked enough so a bit too “al dente”. The bread basket they serve you (complimentary) was really good and comes with butter on it. They took a while to bring out the soup and then my cousin ordered pollo a la brasa and her order took even longer so by the time Hera came.”, we had finished our soups! I wished they had served us all together. We even had to remind the waiter about her food and then it was brought out. Parking is a bit difficult and it could get really busy.

This place is awesome. When I saw the sign lit up at night I just knew I had to check it out. Every day of the week is a rotation of soups, but they also have chicken soup as a default on any day. But don't let the name throw you off. They serve all the Lima classics like fried rice, stir fried beef (lomo saltado), potatoes with huacachina sauce etc They give you fresh, richly greased up bread (I think it's ghee or animal shortening) and a very nice sauce and condiment plate for every meal. I also got the tres leches cake and it was not only a giant slice but in the top 3 of this cake I've had. And I've probably had it at 100 establishments by now around the Americas. It's good!

My Peruvian family and I love this place. My aunt loved the Lomo Saltado so much she went 3 times in one week. This location is huge compared to the Lince location which translates to little or no wait time. The artisan bread is so tasty I had to break my low carb ways during the visits. Siete (7) means they serve one soup each day of the week based on tradition. For example, in Trujillo they consume Shambar on Mondays only; hence, Shambar is served here only Mondays. They serve Sopa Criolla and Caldo de Gallina every day. Many Peruvian dishes are on the menu. The homemade lemon/limeade will quench any thirst. There is parking available. Enjoy. Buen provecho!
