La Placita de Písac — Restaurant in Pisac

Fine little restaurant that makes for a quick bite to eat. Don't go out of your way for this but you likely won't have issues if you find yourself there with the stand out being the freshly squeezed fruit sodas.

Food: A large menu that has just about everything. Should be able to find something for everyone. Had the Alpaca Lomo Saltado, with passion fruits soda and an Americano.

Starting with the high is passion fruit soda; currently in season 7/10; a well balance of juice and soda water this drink is a refreshing thirst quencher that's well priced and portioned

The Alpaca Lomo Saltado NEEDS to be ordered rare; 6/10. Medium rare gets you well done, medium gets you well done and I can only assume that well-done gets you well show rubber. I ordered it medium rare and ended up with just shy of well done. Otherwise the flavour is acceptable with the fries being edible but disappointingly lackluster for a country that has 100s if not 1000s of potato varieties to find the right one.

Do not get the coffee 4/10; it's drinkable but it tastes very acidic. Maybe that's good for some but not for me. Hard pass.

If you enjoy people watching, the outdoor bar balcony upstairs is the perfect little place to enjoy your beverages, while taking in the Mountain View’s and watching people move about the square.

We had two matcha lattes and a baked good, all were very delicious! They even had nut milk to substitute, which is not always the case in Peru, so we were very happy with this.
