Gelateria Cafeteria El Chileno — Restaurant in Trujillo

robably one of the worst services I have experienced throughout my traveling in Peru. While visiting family in Trujillo, Peru, 19/07/2021 we were wandering through la plaza de armas, when we found this little ice cream shop “El Chileno”. The 12 of us were automatically put off by the attitude of the employee working at the shop. Without giving us a chance to look over the menu or any of the different options of flavors they offer, she immediately wanted us to all pay first. Which is fine, but she was very rude about it!! How are we suppose to pay for something when we haven’t even gotten the chance to see what they offer??

When we thought our experience couldn’t have gotten any worse, two young girls (4-5 years old) who were passing by selling candy, approached me asking if I can buy them some ice cream. As I took them to the counter the rude lady automatically assumes that they were bothering me and tried to kick them out! I told her what does it matter if it’s MY MONEY that I’m spending to buy they two little girls ice cream! One of them even wanted sprinkles and she refused to give them any! I was in shock by the way she treated us all. My wife and family were all disgusted by the employees attitude and service that we all left our ice creams and left. Fuimos al local que está por el mercado central- Ayacucho, queríamos estar ahí un rato ya que estábamos realizando algunos trámites en el centro de Trujillo. Procedemos a pedir un helado de 2 bolas, para lo cual nunca preguntó la señorita de turno si era para llevar o comer allí, nos sirve en vasito descartable y cuando queremos sentarnos a comer nos indica que no nos podemos sentar porque es solo para llevar. Le indicamos entonces cual sería la diferencia de precio para consumir dentro del local e indica que está 13 soles (el para llevar esta 12), procedo a decir para cancelar la diferencia y dice que no se puede porque ya nos sirvió, en eso habla con quien al parecer es el encargado del local (no es el mismo del de San Andres) quien estaba sentadazo en una mesa y nos dice que para eso esta el cartel donde indica “para llevar”… teniendo un local con mesas podría preguntar antes de realizar el pedido. Además dijo de forma prepotente que hasta a los de indecopi les tuvo que explicar (es decir, ya ha tenido reclamos por lo mismo)… muchas veces vamos al chileno de san andrés y no hemos tenido ningún inconveniente, muchas veces hemos comido alli y también hemos pedido para llevar sin problemas. El local que menciono no aparece en google maps, tampoco tiene redes sociales activas pero son los mismos helados y tienen el mismo logo asi que procedo a escribir por aquí para que tengan cuidado por el pésimo trato que...

Buenas noches, El día de hoy pase junto a mi familia una mala experiencia al momento de realizar el pago, pues como siempre la atención al inicio fue muy buena, rápida, pero al pedir la cuenta la solicitamos a una señorita de lentes, delgada , la cuenta y ella nos hace llegar una cuenta por 33 soles, le indicamos que esa no era nuestra cuentan porque decía mesa 15 y nosotros éramos la mesa 14 y 17, a lo que ella insistía y de mala manera nos decía que si es, se llevó su cuenta y después de un rato regreso muy apurada y dejo la cuenta (77soles nuestra verdadera cuenta) y atino a decir en un tono molesto, VERIFIQUE SI ESTA ES!! y se fue. -Cómo empresa deben capacitar mejor a su personal sobre el trato que se le brinda a todo cliente, aún cuando el error...
