Minds Controls Cafe — Restaurant in Angeles

It’s one of the newest cafés in the city! It’s a replica to the infamous 2D café in South Korea - the only difference is that the furnitures are not 2D but complemented the overall aesthetics perfectly so it’s all good! The place itself is really beautiful, cozy and relaxing! From experience, when a café is aesthetically beautiful, the menu is not. Fortunately for this café, place is beautiful and so are the offered menu! Aside from aesthetics, the reason I really wanted to come here is their Spanish Latte. Ever since I tried Spanish Latte in one of the only few new cafés that offers this coffee flavor, it’s been my new favorite and I wasn’t disappointed! Their Iced Spanish Latte is as good as I remember it! My friend ordered her usual coffee flavor which is Mocha and she said that it’s so good too! We also ordered Cesar Salad which doesn’t look appetizing because it’s only lettuce and croutons but the dressing complemented it, it tasted surprisingly good! We also ordered Fries and Bacon with cheese sauce and I love that the fries are thin they’re like the fries in Army Navy! For days now, I’ve been craving for some Aglio Olio so I ordered Shrimp Aglio Olio but when I saw Spicy Salted Shrimp pasta on the menu, I thought twice coz I want spicy pasta but I still ended up with Shrimp Aglio Olio because it’s Aglio Olio! I was surprised how spicy it was! So I’m very happy! My friend ordered Clubhouse Sandwich and the serving is actually good for two if you ask me. She said it’s good too and it did really look good! As picturesque and aesthetically pleasing as this place may be, it's not something I would highly recommend because of 2 reasons: one, parking is non-existent. You either have to park at the nearby hotel or across the street which can be challenging. Two, they sprinkle their cappuccino with cocoa without asking which deeply saddened me and put a damper on my visit. One more thing troubles me, if the place is so pleasing to the eye, why are all the patrons staying at the counters by the window instead of inside the restaurant? The view is a public market and they'd rather watch that then be within the confines of the place. P.S. their Blueberry Cheesecake reminds me of...

We traveled one hour just to visit this cafe and I am a bit disappointed with how they treat their customers.

First, they seemed annoyed that there were customers that entered the cafe.

Second, they did not gave us any serving spoon for the pasta that we order.

Third, they were so rude for giving us our bill right away knowing that we were still eating. It was just so disrespectful since we were having a good conversation then they would give the bill right away as if we woudn’t pay for the food that we ordered. We wanted to stay for a bit longer but we lost our appetite with the disrespect that we received from them.
