This is a place you would like to return to because of their delicious food, great customer service and wonderful atmosphere. Even the owner greeted us with hospitality and chatted with us, and he even gave my friends beer on the house because he appreciated that my friend was able to drink beer at one go haha.
Furthermore, We ordered the Chicken Masala (Which was much better than those from other restaurants), The Chili Chicken, and another dish that I unfortunately forgot the name but it's their best selling vegetarian dish with cottage cheese with a creamy and spicy flavor. (I liked the free appetizer which was like a super crispy, spicy, flavorful pita bread)
The ambiance was also amazing because you see picture frames of famous actors, athletes, personalities etc and even movies that you might not have watched yet (it also good place to find your next favourite movie haha). The music they play is calming and is not obnoxious like some other music. It's very easy to take a nice selfie here.
lastly, the Employees were really helpful in explaining the menu, photographing us, and providing everything we needed. The conversation we had with the owner was lovely because you can see the passion he has for creating a wonderful experience for each customer and he ever gave us rosaries. At the end of the night you are full of warm food and a smile. I hope to...
Read moreI highly recommend eating at Mother India Cuisine. The resto may look like a spaghetti and pizza place from the outside but is frequented by Indians, Malaysians, Indonesians, and Singaporeans. That to me indicates that the food is authentic.
We saw waitresses give ice cream to customers who ate at the buffet. Although we felt full after eating chicken masala, yellow dal tadka, and naan, we joked to one waitress that we would also like ice cream. She said she’ll ask the owner if she can give us some. When she returned, she gave us free ones!
The male owner talked to us about the resto and our experience eating there. He said he’ll give us something to take home. He returned with 3 containers of fish, vegetables, and tofu!
5/5 for the delicious food and friendly service. The waitresses and the male owner talk to you like you visited their homes, not a resto. You may want to order ahead of time. They prepare the food...
Read moreAn extremely strange experience and calling this an Indian restaurant is stretching it. Firstly the place stank of chlorine then, looking at the menu it's extremely basic, none of your regular Indian menu items like vindaloo or Jalfrezi etc only chicken curry and a few others. I ordered chilli chicken and asked for it to be extra spicy, when it arrived, not even a hint of heat. There's only basic naan on the menu so I asked if I could have chillies on it to make it spicy. The waitress was puzzled and when the naan came out it didn't look like naan and they had just sprinkled cucumber or pickle's on it, wow what kind of place is this. The pakoras came out like spring rolls and the chicken was extremely basic, it didn't have that Indian restaurant taste. Avoid this place...
