I’ve traveled to Angeles since 2011 and lived there for 2 years ..... Eurotel would have to be the worst hotel I’ve stayed in within the Philippines.... or elsewhere as a matter of fact.|1. The staff use their working days to socialize and congregate in the foyer.... the front desk staff are rude and inattentive much preferring to finish chatting to other staff before attending to customers. It’s a big staff party in the lobby everyday. The manager who sits at his little desk is part of the frivolity or the rest of the time you see him he’s playing on his phone.||2. Room small|- Floor is dirty you cannot walk around in bar feet and put them on the bed. You need to wash your feet |- sheets do not fit the bed. A simple night sleep you will awake sleeping on the bare mattress because the sheets are too small for the bed and have moved and bunched up |- pillows look dirty are are hard|- bathroom is a shoe box and consider it a “wet” room if you decide to use the shower. Water flows all over the bathroom.|- toilet seat was broken and moves if you sit down. |- The tiles are moldy and overall feel is dirty. |- Towels are gone past their use by date. |- in room safe was broken with wires hanging out and batteries missing |- TV Is the size of a laptop with 1 English movie channel while the rest is Philippines channels. International hotel ??????? You cannot really stay in to watch TV unless you like HBO repeated movies. |- lost HBO one night and the maintenance guy came and he had no clue. All he said was “no signal” which was visible and left. 2 hours later I reset all the channels and managed to get HBO back myself |- no in room facilities to make a cup of tea|- no mini fridge to keep purchased drinks cold |- mirrors are never cleaned before or during my stay |- breakfast is strictly Filipino with 2 out of 6 trays filled with rice while 2 others are filled with Pancit (noodles). The bread is so sickly sweet and there is no juice only water with cucumber floating at the bottom and miniature tea cups (2 sips worth) |- being more a Filipino oriented hotel there is always noise in the corridors, they don’t understand respect for others |- you have to request your room to be cleaned at the front desk and leave your key. 2 hours I came back and my room was not cleaned yet. ||There are much better hotels nearby that also have swimming pools and in room facilities. Don’t waste your time booking Eurotel it is low end but high value to all other hotels in the area. ||Would not recommend it to any foreigner or anybody for that matter. Disgusting service...
Read moreWe arrived in July for 10 days Quarantine (3 x persons, 2 x rooms. Cost approximately 2,500 per room including full board (3 x meals per day). Due to numerous changes in our travel itineraries we were unable to retain our original quarantine hotel booking and were forced to reserve Eurotel only 5 days before our travel from Europe. ||||POSITIVES:||Hotel allowed reservation without payment up front unlike other scheming thieving hoteliers stealing money with the "full payment upfront/no refund policies". Well done to Eurotel for at least alleviating the trouble and costs of travelling during Covid pandemic.||Staff friendly even though at times there was some confusions and lack of understanding between them .....due to communication issues.||||NEGATIVES:||Cash payment on check in. Credit Card terminal was not working for the duration we were there. We had to insist on payment on check-out when the funds could be obtained from the bank which the hotel agreed to. Bizarre situation when a hotel will only accept CASH in Peso from international arrivals.||||Room very basic, dirty..........beds with linen that did not fit the mattress which was extremely old and lacking the freshness of a good laundry. We had to place a clean t-shirt over the pillow to at least be able to sleep on a clean pillow with a fragrance. Room had Wi-Fi but was very poor strength and unable to stream Netflix. TV in room with basic cable channels none in English language.||||Food 3 x times a day consisted of large portions of rice every meal time with either red sausages/eggs for breakfast............and chicken/pork for lunch & dinner with very little vegetables provided. Fruits provided every 2nd day. The amount of rice provided may suit Filipino but certainly not foreigners. ||||Shower cold water, not so powerful but at least water was running. Very little bathroom supplies provided so make sure you take your own. Room had a damp smell and bathroom strong smell of drains also a big negative. Noisy air-con, no kettle provided to make coffee / tea.||||In summary i would NOT recommend this hotel if your looking for a clean modern value for money...
Read moreI have stayed several times with Eurotel Makati but the Angeles branch is not comparable based on.the following:
Cleanliness - Not clean. Water in toilet is rusty. Shower curtain smells bad. The tiles needs to be cleaned and sanitized.
No natural ventilation. Rooms has no Window even the toilets exhaust fan is not really working. So when you turn off the aircon, you'll smell enclosed mixture of bad odor in the room.
Comfort - we stayed here for 2 days and had bad experiences on the noise at Room 325. You will here a big thunder like sound every 20-30 minutes due to exhaust/ventilation outside the room. On the ceiling, you'll hear series moving chairs and appliances starting at 4AM to5:30AM. The sounds will really wake you up and annoy you at the same time. For 2 consecutive days these sounds were consistent. We reported it to.the Management but there was no action. Aircon is facing the bed while you have very thin blanket.
The room is wifi ready but has NO signal for mobile networks. I have SMART and Globe but both has no signal as soon as I enter the room. Meaning, you can't call or send/receive messages
Convenience - it's walking distance to SM Clark, Walking Street (night life area of foreigners), a minutes away from Clark airport and town proper.
Price - we booked via agoda so the price was discounted.
Service - while staff and Manager are friendly this is nothing if they don't act on customer complaint. They seemed to listen but that's just it... no action.
Breakfast is included in the fee but choices of food not good as in Makati Branch. No fruits, iced tea instead of fruit juice in the morning is available, very limited choices, fresh milk is not available, the crew are not checking if creamer is enough, spoons are still available, etc.
Overall, service is...
