Chicken Deli — Restaurant in Bacolod

This is not the same as the old and original chicken deli. Since chicken deli expanded/franchised...the quality deteriorated. I remember when I was a kid we frequented chicken deli lacson. But now we usually go to nenas & aidas. You can't order just inasal as they now offer meals that costs 265 for paa with 1 side dish & rice and 300+ for pechopak. Customers are forced to choose only between paa and pechopak meals. Worth it? Personally...No. chicken was dry and not marinated enough. Our side dishes were ensaladang talong, talong kbs & coleslaw. The ensaladang talong was off...there was an after taste and smell that we're not sure if it's the way it should be or it's not good (stale) anymore. Side dishes were very small for 85php...it was served on what seemed a small dipping sauce bowl. I recognize chicken deli's effort to stay relevant but it is going the wrong way. It seems they're copying kenny Roger's but kenny is way better and is offering better pricing. Try comparing a 900+ family meal with 4 rice, 4 side dishes & a pitcher of drinks compared to chicken delis 1000+ family meal with just a whole chicken, 4 rice & side dishes. I'd go with kenny anytime all the time. It's sad that chicken deli ended up this way. It used to be really good. I wouldn't bring visitors to chicken deli. We only ate there as it was the only restaurant with available seats...now...

The cashier wearing glasses (who took the order) was impolite to customers and seemed unfocused. She prioritized someone else on the line as she insisted that the other one waited first (though it was clear that the woman whom she skipped lined up first.)

When it was my turn, i ordered and we waited for the food only to know she forgot one of our orders.😶 So i went back again and ordered. She then told me she'd bring the change of my money to our table.(didnt tell the reason why..) We were about to leave after almost an hour and she never approached to give it. 😶

There were only a few people in the restaurant yet she didnt manage to do...

Worst experience ever! I actually like chicken deli in lacson street, but this one in SM is way too low quality and poor service. Their chicken here is too dry, too small and worst is their rice is so wet that it's almost like a porridge. We added payment for unlimited rice but we only had 1 extra rice since we tried to call their crew several times for the extra rice but they just answered ok, yet no rice came until we tried to complain to them. In addition, there are some customers who they served ahead of time even if we only had the same order and we're the ones who ordered first. We will never dine in this...
