Starbucks SM City Bacolod — Restaurant in Bacolod

Finally, my question was answered well! Thank you to the SB SM Bacolod team, especially to Sheila . You gave me an explanation that no other branch has been able to give, and I really appreciate that.

The Hot Caramel Macchiato has always been one of my favorites in Starbucks. But for the past months, I’ve been ordering it from different branches like Pampanga, NCR, and Bacolod City and I’ve noticed something different in the taste. It just didn’t feel the same, and I started to wonder if the recipe had changed or if it was just me.

Honestly, it was frustrating that in some branches, when I asked about it, I got responses like “It’s the same” or they act like they don’t have time to discuss it. It felt dismissive, and I even ended up not finishing my drink a few times and once, not even a quarter of it.

I really miss the time when Starbucks baristas were eager to help you choose the best coffee that suited your taste.

Again, kudos to the SB SM Bacolod City team for taking the time to explain things and for bringing back that genuine Starbucks service I’ve always appreciated. Been a Starbucks enthusiast since the late ’90s back in Ayala, Makati and it feels good to see that kind of passion still exists.

Great staff! Delighted by the drink they suggested. They seem to really know their regular patrons and are always ready with their usual order. We had the barista's drink (Americano with white mocha with brevé) and it has become my new favorite. Service was quick.

The Male barista is okay he is actually welcoming and looks very joyful but the Female barista i encountered yesterday around 1PM have an attitude that i never expect food is okay.
