We ordered shawarma for takeout. The café was quite busy, but our order was prepared quickly. Unfortunately, I can’t say it was tasty. Instead of proper chicken pieces, the lavash wrap contained very dry ground chicken, and the only other ingredient was a cucumber slice. The sauce was given separately — which felt odd, as this isn’t a salad I’d mix at home. But in a way, it was good — otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to eat the shawarma at all, since the sauce was extremely spicy.
What also disappointed me was that the shawarma wasn’t wrapped properly — it was just a small flatbread barely big enough to close at the edges. On top of that, the whole thing was covered in paper, and it was hard to tell where the lavash ended and the paper began — one moment you’re chewing bread, the next it turns into something inedible. Pay as you order. You need to order at the counter inside. They don't give you a receipt after paying, so you don't have the summary of your order/s.They also don't give you a quieng number.
The waiters bringing out the orders would just yell out the name of the dish and see which customer would claim it. The problem there is when 2 or more customers ordered the same dish. Some customers may take advantage.

Read moreChicken biryani rice is OK. Beef masala is no good. My partner said, the beef tasted like hotdog. I just think it's very low quality beef and the way it was prepared and spiced didn't help. The only great thing is the 70 pesos chai. I would go back there just for the authentic chai. The place is rundown. The toilets appear dirty. No matter how you clean it if you don't repaint and tidy it up, it'll look filthy.
