Ordered delivery so not rating the restaurant itself.
Decent food. Their marinara sauce is much sweeter than I prefer but may be adjusted for local Filipino preferences. Cash & credit card (at least via Grab) payments accepted.
Tried their 3-Cheese & Pepperoni pizza. Not bad. Again, the marinara sauce is too sweet for my taste but the cheese was melted nicely. I think the crust would have benefited from another 2-3 minutes in the oven to crisp it up and avoid the chewiness it exhibeted. But the flavor overall was all right.
Their Bacon & Mozzarella With Corn Chips was surprisingly tasty. Rich, to be sure, but the small bacon piece on each chip was held in place with a thin layer of melted mozzarella. The chips themselves stayed pretty crisp even with delivery time. Served with marinara sauce that was just as sweet as the sauce on the pizza. I'd have preferred a sauce with more zing like a pico de gallo.
The cheesecake tasted like it was a couple of days old. The flavor was good - nicely balanced and not too sweet. But the texture was a bit on the dry side. I'm sure fresh would be much better because this was still tasty despite texture issues.
Overall the food wasn't bad even if it wasn't to my personal liking. I'd be interested to try some of their other offerings where sweetness might not...
Read moreMaccan Bistro is a standout for chicken wing lovers, and my top pick is the Honey Garlic Wings.
The bistro's vibe is Instagram-worthy, clean, and spacious, featuring a balcony. Whether you're solo, on a date, or with friends, the seating suits all. The staff is welcoming and accommodated us even though we arrived just 20 minutes before the 7:20 PM order cut-off.
What sets Wing Haven apart is its diverse and affordable menu, perfect for students. Beyond wings, they offer rice meals, pasta, and pizzas.
Now, the star—the Honey Garlic Wings (comes with rice and a dip). Perfectly balanced, not too salty, not too garlicky, with a hint of sweetness. Crispy skin, moist meat, and the dip are a match made in flavor heaven. The pricing is student-friendly, a bonus for its location between two universities.
In a nutshell, Wing Haven offers more than just wings—it's a delightful experience. With a welcoming ambiance and affordable, flavorful offerings, it's a must-visit in Baguio. The Honey Garlic Wings alone make it...
Read moreThe place in itself is quite appealing. It’s also very close to the university so it’s accessible for students. The quesadillas are a bit thinner than I’m used to but they have surprisingly good filling. The pasta is indeed good for 2. They also have sizzling rice meals that are affordable and great for students. They don’t have their own restroom inside but you can use the building’s common facility. There’s a small balcony with a few tables set up in case you want...
