What's a cafe without wifi? A very expensive restaurant. A cafe is a place you go to relax, study, work, or simply have a cup of coffee while using wifi. If this place had wifi I'd say the prices are just a little expensive but considering there's no wifi the prices are expensive.
Experience: On the door it says," FREE WIFI". As I entered I was amazed by the beauty of this place. I went to the register to order and no one was there but a sign that said," NO WIFI". At this point I was a bit disappointed so I yelled out "HELLO" for someone to come to the counter. I ordered a continental breakfast, a brownie, an iced chocolate drink, and a bottle of water. The continental breakfast was a 2/5. It was like eating leftovers. It gave the impression that it was prepared maybe 30-40 mins ago or more. The Brownie was a 0/5. Of course it wasn't fresh which isn't my expectation but it was a bit hard and had no feeling of love. It may have been very old. The chocolate drink was "meh" 4/5 . I could've went to 7/11 and bought a carton of milk with better taste. I guess I should review the bottled water just to make it positive. The manufacturer deserves a 5/5 because it tastes like water. It was the best part of the meal.
I would have never made this review if wifi was available because I generally dont go to cafe for food. I just came to do a little studying on my laptop as I ate. Only thanks to the water this place gets 2...
Read moreOverall the food is a good quality the service is good there was a few incidents over the last few years where both of those we're lacking. The desserts are very good however they are way overpriced. There was an incident with one of the employees in the open practicing extremely poor hygiene I very discreetly had a conversation with the manager I was very disappointed because immediately they called the meeting and everyone went in the back for a meeting in the kitchen that was extremely unprofessional because now they know because I asked the server to speak to the manager now they know what customer made the complaint. So now not only is it very uncomfortable for me to return there as a customer but I'm afraid that somebody might contaminate my food one way or another like they do in most countries when something like that happens I did not even tell the manager which employee was because I wanted to spare them their dignity I did not want things to be escalated so much for professionalism...
I did something to help future patrons and the manager and the business owner by bringing this to their attention however the way it was handled was extremely poor...
Read moreThey served great coffee and great food still. No messing around here for sure, their coffee are the real deal for being true to their ingredients and no cutting corners in the process. Their cakes, I have tried a few were also very good and are able to give even dedicated cake shops a run for their money if not surpass them altogether. The staff are clearly well trained for being attentive and hospitable, yes, they know their role and they are quite skilled. The interior is very well decorated although the evaluation of the art itself is beyond me to interpret but given that I did saw real living plants inside l, bronze metalworks, and a real but antique looking bicycle hanging on the screen rack overhead tells me a lot of time, money and effort was taken to decorate this place. The lighting seem dark, as it use those old decorated light bulbs (not LED) while the floors, walls and ceiling were darkly painted. Overall it's tedious decorating process makes me feel this place...
