On my first and will be my last dining experience at your restaurant, my overall take was very disappointing. Please allow me to start by giving kudos to the great and very responsive employees who served our table. Without questions, they were very attentive and kind to our overall dining experience. Unfortunately, the praises and kind words stops here!
First, our Pizza dishes- Hawaiian delight thin- did not tasted that good. It could have been made much better by adding more Mozzarella cheese on it with fresh pineapple chunks and more red pizza sauce. For the price of P799, it was over priced and not worth the money.
Second pizza - Managers choice - thick crust. Again the pizza was poorly made. Lacking red sauce and very salty. I expected the crust to be much bigger with more cheese on it, but I was disappointed that it was made just a little thicker than the thin crust. Again this pie to me for P889 was over priced.
My thoughts on the Carbonara supreme platter was excellent. I thought the taste was perfect, however for the size platter I thought it was too small. For the price of P699, it was not worth ordering. Additionally the two medium size pitcher of Ice tea that cost P600 was way beyond my wildest dreams. The three additional items I will not mention for brevity purposes.
Finally the biggest disappointment overall was the total billing. We produce 7 duly authorized senior card holders, but was only given a discount of P314 and Vat Exempt of P188. The total amount came to P3,519 with a total discount of P502, we ended paying P3,016. What happened to our Senior discount per RA 9994 which states that "elderly age 60 and above are entitled to a 20% discount and 12% VAT exemption. Read moreI understand that Sundays can be a busy day for them, but it was evident that they were understaffed. While we understand the pressure they were under, it was disappointing to see one staff member acting unprofessionally. The way she slammed utensils and cabinet doors created a negative atmosphere, which really caught us off guard.
We chose to remain patient since the other crew members were professional and courteous, they’re doing their best (we completely understand the slow service). However, that particular staff’s behavior stood out and left a bad impression, very awkward.

Perhaps they're no longer interested in marketing their food. The hospitality & service of Shakey's that I used to admire for decades has diminished greatly.
