So disappointed with the service crew. So many staff crew members but none would even look at us while we were trying to get our bill and our leftovers packed. 10-15 mins of trying to get their attention just so we can get our bill from staff members who were to busy talking with the kitchen staff not paying any mind to their customers. And when we finally got their attention when we asked for our leftovers to be packed they went right by us and just placed 2 containers on our tables for us to pack ourselves. That's fine and all we can deal with that but right after giving us the containers the staff member who was serving us didnt even wait for us to ask for the bill she just left in a hurry without even looking at us. so another 5-10 mins of trying to call for their attention just so we can ask for the bill. Maybe they were too busy serving the other 2 tables that were also dining in the area or maybe they were just too busy talking with the kitchen staff again with their backs against their customers not giving us a chance to really talk and ask questions regarding the bill. And when we finally got the bill they didnt even bother to get the orders right we also had the shakeys membership card for the discount on us but they didnt even bother asking about it even when we told them that we had it before we ordered our food. So we had to wait another 3-5 mins in an almost empty restaurant just for them to take their time and talk with the kitchen staff again instead of just giving us the correct bill. Feeling a little annoyed by the lack of regard for their customers. But having to wait another 5-10 mins in an almost empty restaurant, making us go to the counter ourselves for our change because they wont even bother checking the counter until we asked again is just plain disrespectful. 3-5 staff members all standing around the kitchen area with their backs against their customers doing nothing. And when confronted about the poor service they act like they haven't heard us complaining instead choose to act deaf instead of apologizing for the way they treated us. Me and my mother aren't confrontational in any way but the way the staff dealt with the situation made me want to stand up and shout for their attention because of the way they were ignoring us. Read moreI am always biased when it comes to Shakey's since this is a family tradition for us. Way back when i was a child my father would take us to Shakey's pizza parlor in Davao. Back then, the Shakey's store really looked like a "pizza parlor". Old school motif, Dixieland music as i was told, cozy booth table, nice ambiance, and the smell of pizza or salami/pepperoni in the air. I can still vividly remember all this and even now, when you bite into a thin crust shakey's special or pepperoni pizza, or chicken, that shakey's smell and taste will take you back to that old happy times! Just like a time machine!! So about this particular branch, i would give it 3.5 stars for the lousy service. Takes too long to get you seated, and equally long to get your bill. But the food is always 5 stars for very consistently good except for the chicken that sometimes is overly cooked and soggy mojos. But the pizza is king!! As a father of 3, me and my daughters always find ourselves in our bonding time in a shakey's store(more frequently, iligan branch, Robinson's mall) munching our favorites! They really have a poor customer service and don't even assist customer with satisfaction. We asked for some items to be used such as a new set of dinner knife and fork since it looks like it's covered with dust/dirt, but the crew insisted it is new and just gave us a hot water for us to dip those utensils (no issue with that). The next thing is when we asked for a spoon (3 spoon) in a very clear instruction and yet their crew gave us 1 spoon and 3 teaspoon (if they are not willing to serve us the things we asked, they should've told us, for us to get it on our own).
