Biaños Pizza — Restaurant in Cebu City

Small, tucked away, little pizza shop. Moderately friendly staff, generally quick service. In my experience of ordering maybe 20 pizza's from this shop specifically, I can say that they have ALWAYS been significantly faster than their estimated time for the pizza to be ready.

They tell you 12-15 minutes, it's usually more like 5. This is of course when they're not packed. At those times, the cook times naturally increase to 10 - 15 or so minutes.

This little restaurant is usually pretty empty. Maybe 1-3 other people in there at any time. They do have their peak times however of course when every seat is filled and you're waiting in a line. That was only once in maybe 20 visits though.

**Bare in mind - for foreigners especially - this is 'Filipino' style pizza. This is not the traditional western style or 'New York' style pizza you get at say Yellow Cab, or Pizza Hut in Ayala/SM, or the amazing pizzas available at Landers. The crust/base of the pizza is extremely thin/flat, and usually quite crispy. The cheese, sauce and toppings are much more sparse compared to the 'New York'/western style pizzas.

And on that note, it's pretty easy to put away (eat) their entire 11" pie - the largest they make - by yourself and still find you able to have another slice.

However, you get what you pay for, and Bianos Pizza is, in my opinion, extremely inexpensive. Their large 11" will run you 140-155php depending on the toppings (at the time of...

This is the worst pizza store I have ever visited and availed of delivery service from.

When I visited the store, the place was nice and cozy, but the cashier was condescending and strict. I tried to observe if it was only because I was not dressed up nicely, but the customers who follow me--who were dressed up nicely--were treated the same. Thus, I surmised that the cashier really had attitude.

So I decided to avail of their delivery service instead. Aside from not facing the cashier face to face again, I would also have the convenience of staying at home and it's more economical and time saving.

However, the pizza delivery service was a mess. The delivery guy couldn't contact the customers whenever he is on site. Their only way of informing the customers is that they let the delivery guy use their store phone to call the customers and inform them that he is on his way. He is not provided with a means of communication for us customers. So we had to wait for him...or he for us. This is purely absurd.

I contacted their store regarding the matter. Maybe they would try to improve.

Now, after a few weeks, I tried to order again. But their system is still the same. Worse, their pizza tastes aweful. It seems stale.

I visited this restaurant because of its high Google review rating. I don't understand why anyone would give this restaurant more than 2-3 stars. The pizza is quite lacking - outside of the overwhelming flavor of sweet cheese, there's very little else in the terms of flavor.
