Sal's Kitchen in Cebu, Philippines, is a truly unique dining experience. This restaurant, cleverly built inside shipping containers, offers an ambiance that's both charming and intriguing. As soon as you step inside, you'll be captivated by the creative design that makes excellent use of this unconventional space.

During my visit to Sal's Kitchen, I had the pleasure of trying their fish tacos and deluxe cheeseburger with fries. The fish tacos were a standout dish, featuring a delightful blend of flavors. The spicy sauce added a tantalizing kick that elevated the overall taste. It's a must-try for anyone who enjoys a bit of heat in their food.

The deluxe cheeseburger was equally impressive. Not only was it generously sized, but it was also cooked to perfection. Juicy, flavorful, and topped with all the right fixings, it's clear that Sal's Kitchen takes their burgers seriously.

In addition to the food, the restaurant's ambiance adds to the overall dining experience. Despite its unconventional setting, the interior is welcoming and comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family.

Sal's Kitchen in Cebu is a testament to how creativity and a passion for good food can come together to create a memorable dining experience. Whether you're drawn by the unique shipping container concept or simply seeking delicious fare, this restaurant is well...

One of My Favorite Burger Spots in Cebu! Among the many burger joints in Cebu, this place is definitely my favorite. There’s also a wine bar right next door, so you can enjoy drinks as well. The food and drink orders are placed at separate counters, and they offer several kinds of beer—with tasting available! You can even place delivery orders or reserve a table via Instagram DM.

We ordered the Garlic Butter Shrimp Bun, Double Smash Cheeseburger Loaded Fries, and Surf n’ Turf Deluxe Burger. Some menu items are spicy, but you can request them without spice if you prefer. The burgers are rich in flavor, indulgently “junk-food” in the best way, and packed with thick, juicy meat—absolutely perfect with beer!

The Garlic Butter Shrimp Bun features plump, juicy shrimp with a strong kick of garlic. Some people might find it a little spicy, but I think it pairs amazingly with beer. Personally, I recommend eating here rather than ordering delivery—the freshness really makes a difference.

The fries are also a must-try, with the perfect balance of fluffy inside and crispy outside. If you’re in Cebu, I highly recommend...

Look this is where it's at. Very blessed to find keen and innovative local brewers with some bold experimental hoppy flavours (I know the Training Wheels Golden Ale is for newbies but with such a creamy flavour I loved knocking them back). James let me taste them all, and knew his gear, which I loved and which made it a whole experience. The attached food van is also really cool. Neat tricky little shrimp and fried pickle starters for the win. Great find. For sure it's pricey but you won't notice it with the greta flavours and vibes (throwback 90s playlist with Chili Peppers B-sides, 'Helena' by My Chem, early Foo and Nirvana and...

The best double smash cheese burgers and friend pickles in Cebu. Thick cut fries are also great. They also have tacos and fish and chicken burgers—try anything and leave satisfied. Goes hand in hand with Turning Wheels, where they offer an array of craft beers and iced sangria. No AC here so bring your Jisulife if you run hot, but the vibes are always immaculate. They have jenga and a couple other games. The staff remembers you by name, and they’re always super nice, hospitality 10/10. Rest room always has toilet paper and they’re pet friendly, which is always a plus! A Cebu favorite.
