Bollywood Tandoor in Cebu offers a delightful culinary journey through the vibrant flavors of India, making it a standout destination for Indian cuisine enthusiasts. As someone who has experienced authentic Indian food in its homeland, I can confidently say that Bollywood Tandoor comes closest to recreating that experience in Cebu.
The menu boasts a wide array of dishes, each bursting with authentic Indian spices and aromas. From the tender and flavorful chicken tikka to the aromatic biryani and succulent tandoori chicken, every bite transports you to the streets of Mumbai or Delhi. It's undoubtedly the best Indian restaurant in Cebu, offering a taste of India right here in the Philippines.
While the food steals the show, the service at Bollywood Tandoor could use some improvement. While the staff are polite, there's room for enhancement in terms of attentiveness and efficiency. Nonetheless, their genuine efforts to ensure a pleasant dining experience are appreciated.
The ambiance of the restaurant is decent, providing a comfortable setting for enjoying a meal with friends or family. While it may not be the most lavish or opulent, the focus here is on the food, and in that aspect, Bollywood Tandoor delivers.
In terms of value for money, Bollywood Tandoor certainly impresses. The generous portions and quality of the food justify the prices, making it a worthwhile dining destination for those craving authentic Indian flavors in Cebu.
Overall, Bollywood Tandoor offers an above-average dining experience, with outstanding Indian cuisine that is unmatched in Cebu. While there's room for improvement in certain areas, the exceptional flavors and value for money make it a must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of India in the...
ย ย ย Read moreTHE PLACE. For me it qas a mix of amazing and 'wut?' Once you get it, it looks like it is a house with two big rooms and a space you do not know what for. Entering the doors, you will feel. like you are in an event place. Once you enter that dining are, with a glass door, it's okay. There's another room that I am not sure if an event room, or a room just for Indians. Anyway, by the time we got there, there was more Indians than Filipino customers. I guess not a lot of Filipinos know this place.
THE FOOD. Well, we only ordered Veggie Fried Rice and Chicken Tikka Massala. Not sure if spelled right. ๐ But anyway, the food was amazing. I kid you not, we plan to come over amd over until we tasted everything on the menu. The only disappointment I have is that they do not have a Tea Tarik. Why!?! But hey, their Watermelon Lassi is delicious!
THE PRICE. All worth it. It's not an upscale place, but you might still...
ย ย ย Read moreAll I can say is their service is very low. This is our first time to try Indian food so of course, we don't know the foods. We need the time to read their menu but this women has no patience. My sister heard her talking to the other staff saying "They (that's us) are taking so long to choose what to order". Instead of helping us what food is best to choose, she only stand there and getting very close to me that seems like letting me know that "hurry! choose your order". It's not even 2 mins. yet when that happened. I'm not sure if she's one of the staff or one of the owner but I'll tell you don't come here if you don't want to meet this kind of service. Better change the way you treat customers or change this women to serve...
