It's gonna be a fun dining experience when you choose to eat at Chosun Chicken! Its Korean style is going to fascinate you as you will be in a compartment while dining. I didn't expect it to be like that, I thought it would just be tables and chairs, but really, it feels like you have your own room while dining. Hehe cheers to first time in a Korean restaurant!
So I just got invited by my friends and didn't know what exactly was on their menu. But the very best thing I loved, was their chicken wings. The not spicy one and the intensely spicy kind.
I like its taste and truly my dining experience was satisfied. It's not one of those highly classy kind of restaurants but it is more of like an average Korean dining feel. Trust me, you are gonna love their spicy chicken wings (at an affordable price) and make sure you ask for a pitcher of water because your mouth is gonna be sizzling hot!
Things which the place can improve on: lights (because I think it was dark for me, or did they intend to have it that way?) toilet (as I am really particular with toilets, I hope they get their water...
Read moreChosun Banilad has been my go-to Korean BBQ spot for a long time. The quality of their grilled meats and the overall dining experience have always been consistent, which is why I keep coming back. The flavors are authentic, the ambiance is cozy, and it’s usually a satisfying meal.
However, I was quite disappointed during my recent visit to learn that they’ve started charging PHP 20 for each sauce and side dish like kimchi and pickled radish. What used to be part of the Korean BBQ experience now feels a bit diminished. These sides are a staple in Korean cuisine and are typically offered as complimentary in most Korean restaurants—even for refills.
It’s honestly disheartening, especially since Chosun is the only Korean restaurant I know that now charges for these basics. I hope they reconsider this new policy. I’ll still come back because the food is good, but this change definitely affects the overall...
Read moreI've been a loyal customer of Chosun Banilad for a long time, but my recent experience just now has left me incredibly frustrated and disappointed. I placed a simple takeout order – just ½ kimchi. It was a scorching hot day, and I asked the cashier for a small cup of water while I waited. Her flat refusal, citing a "dine-in only" water policy, was astonishing. Seriously? A cup of water for a loyal customer picking up a takeout order on a sweltering day is too much to ask? This isn't about the water itself; it's about the incredibly poor customer service and blatant disregard for a regular patron. I'm reconsidering my loyalty to this establishment after such a stingy and unfriendly encounter. There are plenty of other Korean restaurants in the area that value their...
