Always our go to Indian Restaurant in Cebu. We've been a fan since they opened a few years back. The big convincing factor was when we went to SG and went to Little India and ordered the same food we order in The Spice to find out it tastes the same!

We are also vegetarians so we get a wide selection of great vegetable dishes.

The service is also good esp if there's a manageable amount of customers. But when there would be groups coming in together then there would be a some waiting. It was worse when they just opened, but they have improved now.

Good tip is to remember that the name of the store is Spice, and spicy is their default. Always indicate if you want if mild, medium, or super spicy.

They also opened recently a new grocery in the front where we sometimes buy spices, and indian snacks. They also now have the new pastry shop, with burgers and cakes.

Lastly, if youre a restaurant guest, there would be a bunch of Indian nationals, mostly students eating. Im assuming they have some affordable meals serve to the group. So dining customer should go inside, where theres the counter.

As of now, for me, still the best...

Spice the Spice in Cebu, A Culinary Haven of Authentic Flavors.

Stepping into this restaurant is more than just a dining experience—it’s a journey into the heart of hospitality and flavor. The team behind this wonderful establishment exudes warmth and professionalism, making every guest feel truly valued. Their impeccable manners and dedication to excellence set the perfect stage for the unforgettable meals that we enjoyed during the few days of our stay while on a visit to Cebu.

From the rich and flavorful non-vegetarian delicacies to the equally divine vegetarian offerings, every dish was a masterpiece. However, the real showstoppers are their authentic Indian dishes, with a special nod to their mouth-watering South Indian creations. Every bite bursted with tradition, love, and culinary expertise, leaving you craving more.

A heartfelt salute to the incredible management and chefs led by the owners wife herself who make this place a paradise for food lovers. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food served with passion and perfection!

The experience was quite alarming. Upon my arrival, I was met by a notably impatient server. It appeared that the owner was engaged in a dispute with her. The specifics were unclear. However, they did not allow me the opportunity to peruse the menu and were hastily urging me to place an order. Additionally, the menu itself is quite outdated. The prices have increased significantly. My desire to dine in diminished greatly, leading me to leave the establishment. I could not identify any favorable aspects of this venue. The most off-putting element was her insistence on rushing me to choose a seat.

To reply to her comment , the waitress did not approach the table for over 25 minutes.

By the way the owner replied and tried to lie about my experience which is purely subjective; I wouldn’t eat here ever.

This restaurant should only stick to delivery or order at...

They have generous servings and good dishes. I enjoyed the samosa but wasn't too sure about the dip because of the colour. Their flatbreads were delicious though. However, it was disappointing that they didn't have a specific beer available. Perhaps, a need to improve on inventory management or to update the menu on what is not available. The staff were very accommodating but it was just a bit odd to be asked that they take a photo of us dining but never got told when they took the photo. It's a good value Indian restaurant and would recommend it for those looking for some Indian flavours.

The food did not disappoint. The serving portion is adequate. Top picks i liked in the menu are the chicken tikka masala, the buttered chicken, the biryani, the roti and the paneer, the also have a wide selection for vegetarian option which are very very good. My personal go to top tier indian cuisine restaurant. Sadly didn't take pictures of the food because as soon as it was set on the table it was devoured in matter of seconds. Will update with pictures next time i visit
