I had an absolutely fantastic experience here with their Schnitzel dish. The highlight wasn't just the delectable food, but also the owner's warm and accommodating nature. It's evident that they take great pride in providing a memorable dining experience.
My purpose for visiting was two-fold: to savor authentic German cuisine and to relish a football match. The Schnitzel I ordered surpassed all expectations, boasting the perfect blend of crispy texture and rich flavor. The attention to detail and commitment to culinary excellence were apparent in every bite, making it a true delight.
Equally impressive was the owner's demeanor. Their friendliness and willingness to ensure my comfort added an extra layer of enjoyment to the overall visit. This personal touch elevated the dining experience, leaving a positive and lasting impression.
As I indulged in the sumptuous meal, I couldn't help but appreciate the dual pleasures of a satisfying culinary journey and the excitement of the football match. It's not every day that one can combine their love for good food with their passion for sports in such a seamless manner.
In conclusion, my visit to this establishment was a harmonious convergence of gastronomic satisfaction and a shared sports enthusiasm. The superb Schnitzel, along with the welcoming owner, contributed to an experience that I'll fondly remember. Whether you're a food connoisseur, a sports aficionado, or both, this place certainly...

Went there at around 11:30 PM to eat but the waitress was in a haste since it's the "last call" in the kitchen. Because of her hurried attitude, I just chose a regular ol' Schnitzel. After taking our order, she immediately got the food menu back as if to prevent us from ordering some more, when I wanted to keep on reading the menu so I can see what they're offering IF I am going to go back to the restaurant the next time.
After our meal ended, there was no OR or official receipt, just a handwritten receipt written from some generic receipt pad. I don't know if their receipt is really supposed to be handwritten? Smart move. How could I report a transaction without a proper OR, right? The receipt given to us was torn in the upper part, bearing no logo (nor business name) of Das Bierfass. Who knows if my meal was actually registered by the cashier?
Conclusion: IF YOU WANT A LATE NIGHT DINNER, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. Closing time is at 1AM but if you arrive at 11:30PM, YOU CANNOT TAKE YOUR SWEET TIME HERE. Staff gives the impression of wanting to clock out already. I mean, why work in a restaurant / bar if you are keen to go home early? This just comes across as laziness. Waiters and kitchen staff should be MEN because these women seem to want to go back to their domestic duties at home ASAP. I just ate here because the only other choices late in the evening are...
Read moreAndreas sent tears in my eyes... "Alte Liebe" (Old Love), a beer i drank last 1999 in Germany somewhere at Laberweinting or Neufahrn or somewhere there around... and never again. Thats OK, i drunk a lot of local beers in Germany i could not buy at my homestay. But "Alte Liebe"... i got it in Cebu. Not only this... It was also served in an original glas! I also drink some German "Obstler", and even we are full up to our lips, we also tried the Schweizer Wurstsalat. I did not eat it this way before, and i eat a lot of this kind in bavaria. But it was also ok! We want to go back for Schnitzel and currywurst and some different, but our time in Cebu was too short. We will be back. The Restaurant needs an additional mention: Clean, very clean. A lot of lovefull German details in decoration. You can sit outside or inside in Aircon, it's up to you. Sorry, but so much better than the German style restaurants here in Davao. I think some Germans only in Cebu because of Andreas and...
