Pipeline - IT Park — Restaurant in Cebu City

I live nearby and have been there three times this month. Two of my visits were OK One visit was terrible Let's get the negative out of the way first. The only real negative is the staff. The inconsistency of the service from one visit to another is simply mind-blowing. I am a very easygoing person, BUT There needs to be some kind of training and management charges. As you can see from other reviews the poor service is a constant complaint. How is this allowed to continue? Staff sitting around on their phones, sleeping, talking, and smoking while ignoring the customers is pretty annoying. They have plenty of staff on duty, but they aren't doing anything to help customers. You will have to go get someone to take your order, so get used to the idea. There's a centrally located counter you can ask for help at, and he will yell at one of the staff to take your order. They do not return to see if you need anything else... ever. You will have to go get them if you want/need something. I have even had to go break up the chat sessions to remind them to get my food from the kitchen. The amount of money they are losing from this staffing weakness is truly shocking to me. The CR area is pretty rough, considering the rest of the facilities aren't too bad Seating could use an upgrade They should keep in mind this is a place people come to drink, eat, play pool and chat. It's not a disco, so blasting the music so you have to yell at the person across the table from you is not a positive thing. The place has a general feeling of neglect and lack of oversight that has allowed small issues to accumulate unnecessarily. THE PROS The food is surprisingly good and affordable The beer selection is fine but outdated. it could use an upgraded line of craft type beers. They restrict the number of people who can enter at peak times , so overcrowding isn't an issue. This is a BIG PRO for me. The open-air setting in the park is pretty nice, and the crowd seems pretty cool. IN SUMMARY I cautiously recommend for the food and beer. Be ready to fend for yourself If you are sensitive to inattentive/poor service, then don't go. You will just get mad. Avoid at peak hours: if being ignored when it is virtually empty upsets you, just imagine how you'll feel when there are fifty other...

Is this supposed to be Cebu's "where it's at" area? IT PARK the beacon of sophistication 😂. I got a long island ice tea pitcher which came in a jug full of ice & had barely any booze in it & they shot glasses. You don't drink long islands with shot glasses WHAT? The seats had mould growing on them & the staff were just throwing trash N liquids against the tree that grows in the middle. It's actually laughable how they can't even function on the most basic level of professionalism. Cebu city is a laughing stock excuse of a city, it's truly pathetic 😂😂😂😂. Trying it's best to be trendy, modern & cool but just fails miserably. It's because they're capitalist mentality takes over their ability to understand that they're not rich so they cut corners at every possible turn. TRULY PATHETIC...
