While looking for a roof deck experience, I expected a Family oriented experience just like other Hotels in the past. Sadly the place didn’t allow children. Never did I had problems like this since the place has a Bar. More on a SEDA brand name. I had to place, There were no signs or information provided when I reserved the place earlier that Day, since the place opens by 5:30pm from Bam at the hotel ( phone call landline). Good thing The GM ( Ron) was there to intervene. I thought that everything will be fine after explaining to him, I wanted a Roof deck experience to spend my special day with Family and Friends. But I was wrong. It was a beginning of a Disaster to come. I saw a sequence of food I ordered in shambles. Instead of an appetizer first then to the Main food as I instructed, it was presented badly ( every food came at the same time. Example: a cup of rice that was to be served individually, were jump packed like a cafeteria in one big plate) . Then came the worst part, the Birthday cake that was the culmination of a Birthday event, was not done because the charged a corkage of 1,000 , instead we just lit the candles , sung, then blew the candle and re-boxed the cake). Unfortunately the Manager ( Ed) knew of it too late and told ( Wendy ), for the event , she should have took the initiative and waived the corkage since we paid a big amount for the Birthday event. If It was the other SEDA hotel in Ayala in Cebu, I would been treated differently as a special event for my Birthday. Sadly, I thought All SEDA are the same but I was wrong. I told the event organizer at SEDA Ayala of my experience and told me she’d refer this to someone at the Higher up. Conclusion: SEDA Central Block - Cebu should standardize their services. Be Family Oriented, even if there was a bar, firstly it’s a prestigious Hotel and we did not go there to drink liquor but to enjoy the skyline. Be people or guest friendly and staff shouldn’t be narrow minded and refer situations to their supervisors if special and specific situations call for if the policy in placed is not clear to better put their client first that policy. Here, it could have been handled differently.
Hope this reached to the Higher up.

Read moreVery good service and atmosphere. Please note there is a dress code and men must wear a sleeved shirt. I was offered a very nice cotton button up shirt to wear after we sat down and didn’t mind wearing it at all. Beer selection is currently limited to only 3 beers but my Corona was very tasty. My only small complaint is that a Corona should always be served with a lime wedge not lemon. Hopefully they restock the Paulaner soon as it’s my favorite beer. DJ was good and my girlfriend and I had fun, we will...
Read moreHorrific service levels. Long wait times, served cocktials in dirty glasses, requested water four times for four guests with ice alongside the mixed drinks, eventually was served two warm waters only with no ice.
Tried to order a second cocktail, had to ask three times and took more than 20 mins at a not busy bar. My friend also tried to order a second gin and tonic and the same issue. Honestly seemed like the staff did not want to serve us on purpose for...
