Over-Priced Cakes for its Taste & Quality. Their Ice Cream tastes better than their main product - Cakes. We went for the Cheesecake Roulette (tried the Mango & Strawberry slices) & I have to say for a 275pesos per slice I was not satisfied at all. I had high expectations for an expensive slice of cheesecake. The graham base is not of a good quality/taste & is quite THICK, what a ripp-off! I did not order for a Graham Cake but wanted more cheese filling in my cheesecake. I prefer my cheesecake to have a thick & heavy textured cheese-filling but 10 Dove Street Cheesecake is airy, light and thin, and I am so bothered with the thick base layer of Graham Cracker. I also ordered their Chocolate Brownie - waaaay tooo sweet! The taste & sweetness is so similar with what you buy in the supermarket - the likes of Fudgie Bar comes to mind. I was expecting more of a Rich Decadent Chocolate taste but again this is not the case for their Chocolate Brownies. A must try however is their Mocha Java Chip Ice Cream - this is the ONLY one that...
Read moreThe place itself is really catchy and cozy. Service is good too and everything else is just aesthetically pleasing. But what I'm sad about is there food. I ordered that Amazing Burger meal that they have and I'm sorry to say this but it's far from amazing. It looks like Salisbury Steak in the photo but actually, it's just bland meatball shape burger soaked in bread that looks like it's crushed in water with little bits of seasoning. I don't have any choice but to eat it since I'm so hungry and was already comfy. The Matcha drink is way too expensive for the size and taste too. It seems like they just added water and 1 scoop of the flavor before topping it with whip cream. IT'S SO BLAND! I had better matcha drinks that are way less the price and more in quantity & quality.
If you're opting for some instagrammable ambiance and style, then I recommend this place. But when it comes to food and drinks, better go somewhere else cause this place is not...
Read moreI just found myself jokingly saying to my friend that: if only they could make a better version of mango brahvo, then i would say good bye to contis.
But I haven't seen or tried one that could beat mango brahvo.
I tried their dark and white chocolate cake instead and it automatically becomes my favorite but their cake designs, to be honest, it kinda lack luster and cakes displayed in starbucks even looks more pleasing.
Its suppose to be 3 stars but the staffs are good and the ambiance minus the view outside (left side if your facing the counter) is dreadful.
Recommendation:
Better have a seat facing the floor to ceiling window towards the walk or the one facing the japanese restaurant. And it is better to have your coffee at 9am when you have the whole place...
