Tongs Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Cebu City

First off, i called to inquire about the buffet. I spoke with the head of the dining area. He was really rude. I searched for the affordable buffet in Cebu. It came up Diamond Tongs on the list. I asked if the price is for 345 which includes the drinks. He said no, it aready increased to 359.00. He said the name has been changed to Tongs Seafood Buffet. So I checked it myself. I called again asked about if someone has a birthday, is there any price difference. He said 50% off the birthday celebrant. Next part was about googling the name of restaurant as Tongs Seafood Restaurant because i couldn't find it. I ask sir, I couldn't find it. He asked me, what id like to find out about the website. I answered because when Diamond Tongs came up. I can see the address, phone number, reviews and photos. He said the others can see and i cant? I mean wth🙄😠😠 seriously?? So i asked why is there a need for you to ask about the website? I am a cusomer, i want to see the reviews and comments on the website. He was so sarcastic. Is that an attitude of a head dining personnel. Omg!! I just called again and cancelled the reservation. The nerve. He didn't even check it himself if it's already updated or not. I just told him before you say anything about website related info, checked if you can see it yourself. He was also giving me answer like, idk, only the owner can change it. So why the hell you're saying why others can see it? Why the head dining personnel is unaware of it. I have to cancel because of poor telephone ettiquette, poor customer service. This place is my brother's find. I was reluctant at first because I read some unfavorable reviews. I love oysters and scallops, and my brother loves shrimp and crabs, so we took the chance, and judge the place ourselves. The place has a very not too big and and it has a casual ambiance with a parking space for about 8 vehicles. The food in the buffet table was fresh and delicious, about 12-14 dishes, better than the other "seafood" places I've been to in Cebu. I had three platefuls of the no guilt buffet There are no servers, but the crew were very helpful when you needed something. They clear your table of used plates every time you go back to the buffet for seconds or thirds. I think they only serve crabs on weekends. Food selection is alright except it’s not replenished at a timely manner. Upon our arrival, I could count with my fingers how many of the scallops and oysters were left. Also, when food was refilled it was really cold to the point where the butter felt like jelly (baked scallops). There was a lady in the function room who literally took plates and plates for her guests and literally left nothing for others to have. I don’t know if the restaurant has any rules about this but if not, it should be implemented. How is it fair that this person is grabbing loads of food for people who are not even her yet and leave no food for other guests to have.
