If you're searching for an authentic Italian dining experience on Bantayan Island, look no further than Pizza Italia. This gem, owned by the delightful Alexandro, offers some of the finest pizza and pasta I've ever tasted outside of Italy.
The moment you take your first bite, it's clear that the taste and quality are truly Italian. Each dish is crafted with care and a genuine love for Italian cuisine. The pizzas boast a perfect crust, a rich tomato sauce, and fresh, flavorful toppings, while the pasta dishes are cooked to perfection with sauces that taste homemade and hearty.
Alexandro, the owner, is incredibly approachable and friendly. His passion for his restaurant shines through in every interaction, and he takes the time to ensure every guest feels welcome and satisfied. He confidently assures diners that Pizza Italia is the best in both quality and authenticity, and after my experience, I wholeheartedly agree.
Pizza Italia is a must-visit for anyone on Bantayan Island. Whether you're a local or a tourist, you're in for a superb meal that will leave you craving...
Read moreI was excited to give Pazza Pasta Pizza another try after seeing positive reviews, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. The pizza seemed to lack key ingredients—most noticeably, the cheese. It felt like they might have forgotten it altogether, which was disappointing for the price. The crust was thick and crispy, but also tough and hard to chew.
Service was a bright spot—the staff were welcoming and went out of their way to make us comfortable. However, the atmosphere felt uninspired. The wall art consisted of generic posters of celebrities eating pizza, which lacked originality. Featuring photos of actual customers enjoying their pizza would make the place feel more personal and authentic.
I’ve been here twice now, and both times the restaurant was completely empty. On our first visit, we left after sitting down, but this time we stayed, hoping for a better experience. Sadly, it didn’t hit the mark. Better pizza options can be found nearby at Coco’s. If you’re a cheese lover, you might want to...
Read moreIt was a convenient place to go to get Italian food. Pizza was very good, we also had salad and Pasta Carbonara. The Pasta Carbonara was not the kind we had expected, based on what's shown on their menu, which said that it has egg yolk, etc. in other words, the original Carbonara that me and my partner were used to; it came with apparently some white cream on it... We barely touched it. Good thing the opener, a nice gentleman went over to us and told us we should've requested for the original Italian Carbonara, not the "American" one, of which we didn't know that's what we should've done because we were just trusting what had been printed on their menu. He did however offer to make us the real Carbonara with egg yolk, etc. which we really did appreciated. Moving forward, in order to not have confusion with costumers, I suggest they should put two versions of their Carbonara...
