When they totally don't know the concept of basic customer service or what ice tea is, when they do something wrong or they don't know how to do it they are rude, arogant and will still try to charge you for it. For the rest of our stay we will not be returning.

It's shocking how bad the service was and how incapable they are to say sorry!

Food on top of it was average.

*update after reply from the owner

We asked for ice tea with NO or very little sugar, your staff gave us instat powder ice tea that contain so much sugar and upon trying it afront of your staff we said this is full of sugar we can't drink this...what did your staff do? Nothing.

We asked if there is a natural non instant powder tea, we been informed yes a green tea, we ordered that one , but your staff left first one that we did not drink- instead of taking it away, and then they filled a glass with water put a tea bag in and no ice or anything and they gave us glass with water and tea bag inside...come one you really call that ice tea?

Your staff ignored several comments from us that this is not ok and on end of the dinner we did not drink at all both teas...your staff needed to ask if all was OK and offer a solution instead when we asked for the bill and pointed out that first tea was full of sugar instant powder and second was ...well it was water with tea bag inside and no ice ....they replied: you need to pay for it as you ordered it.

We had whole dinner with only one good drink ( mango smothhy) we did not drink chemical instant tea fulll of sugar or secon one that was total failure...and we ware not offered even water as your staff noticed that from two of us only 1 person had drink , second person had two full glasses of your "ice" tea that we did not touch.

What your staff needed to do is when we asked for ice tea with no or very little suger they needed ro say : sorry we can't do that as it's instant powder that already contain lots of sugar...that's your first mistake.

So your reply you complained and we gave you free ice tea is insulting as one person was whole dinner without drinking anything and your staff noticed that there is a problem as we clearly told them and they ignored to take tea from the table and I needed to complain on end that we don't want to pay as we did not drink it.

All of this as you have ignorant staff and yourself as an owner needed to come say sorry take the tea off the table, off the bill and maybe offer a water!!!

That's called customer service.

Only free thing we received from you was an uncomfortable situation and we did not enjoy our dinner as one person did not have anything to drink!! And you still don't apologise....

Omg!! I‘ve been wanting to write this review from my very first rice!(insider joke, lol)

I promised you a „bonggang“ review and i tend to keep my promises. So here it goes dude and bai! This is how much i love your food/cooking and well all of you😁

Venz is a friend of mine, but believe me when I tell you, this review is NOT biased!!

We tried everything they had on the Menu and boy let me tell you, they we’re all Amazing!! It was so good, i think i ate 7 servings of rice in total or even more, and yes in one sitting!! (I don‘t exactly remember the amount of rice servings i had, because i stopped counting right after my first one!! Lol, joke explained..) i think “ate“(Filipino for big sis) got me the whole rice cooker bowl(?!) at the very end, because she had to keep on coming back to refill my plate, lol.

Altho my favorite of them all would be the sisig!! And also home made halo-halo! I’m getting soo hungry just by thinking about it!

The place is also nice for meeting new and interesting people! Very chill atmosphere, to unwind from all the traveling. I’m really trying hard not to sound too biased here but there’s no better place to try fresh and very very very very yummy Filipino foooood in Moalboal(the prices are also unschlagbar!!! Excuse my German, unbeatable?! 😁) Try all of their dishes! You wont be disappointed!

I just love the quality of food they serve u here! Leaving loads and loads of love here on ur review page! I can’t write enough for all the happy FEELS i had/we had in my/our tummies!!! Thanks again!! I will be back in Cebu, just to eat here again!! (Okey and to see u guys too..) but mostly just to eat here!!😍😍

Leudeeee, ohne scheiß.. ich schwööööre! Das Essen hier ist richtig gut! Wenn ihr frisches Essen essen wollt, dann unbedingt mal bei Venz...

I had a great gastronomic experience here in Ven'z, truly one of the best restaurants Moalboal has to offer. The only downside is the long wait you have to endure for your meals to be served but once the meals are served on your table, its all worth the wait.

Their menu is categorized into two sections, one section filled with a cornucopia of Filipino vegan dishes like adobong eggplant and vegan curry made fresh from the farms of Moalboal. Then other section is for people like me, a pure blooded meaty-tarian. Regardless of the type of dishes you like, both share one thing in common - a hefty portion of a heart-shaped cup of rice.

During our visit, we ordered some meaty-tarian specials: a very common Filipino favorite called Bistek Tagalog, and something new and we haven't tried yet called Chicken Pastel. Both dishes are served with generous portion which is good for two persons or one heavy eater like me.

The Bistek Tagalog tastes fine, its chunky and truly captures the Filipino vinegary preference. What truly captivates me is the delicious and creamy sauce of the Chicken Pastel.

The place is also very accessible, located just by the main Panagsama Road in Basdiot. I also met the owner who was featured in Byahe Ni Drew, he seems to be a very cool guy.

My only letdown is it would take a while for me to try out their delicious meals again. If only Moalboal is just a town away...

Great place for Lapu Lapu’s revenge!!! Lots of frozen foods here!! Not fresh food!!! Got the pork lumpia and got food poisoning!!! It was raw pork in the middle even though it was fried golden brown on the outside. Saw many workers with frozen homemade foods walking around. So clearly foods are made in advance and frozen without any covers or Saran Wrap with freezer frost on them. I ordered the pork kinlaw, menu said grill until tender it was hard as a rock the edges with pork skin. It was pork belly with bones!!! Almost broken a few teeth trying to chew this hard pork belly! No food safety or hygiene at this place!!! There’s a reason why it’s mostly tourist here and no locals!!! It just isn’t good, safe food to eat. Find a better place to eat, so many in the area at half the price of this place!!! Service was awful, had to ask for a fork, spoon, everything!!! And it wasn’t a place for eating with your hands! Will never understand any circumstances will I eat here again. All this was brought up with the waitress they she refused and said the food would be deducted from here salary if I don’t pay. So I paid even though me and my spouse did not eat most of the foods!!’ Oh almost forgot they have a deceptive menu so look carefully and check the prices it is NOT as expensive as you thing! It’s WAY more pricey!!!!! Ask the total price of the dish. You have been warned!!!!!!!!

It’s not often I leave 1 or 2 star reviews but this placed absolutely deserved it. 1 star for 1 reason 1. Only good dishes was the arrozcalde, pork kilawin and the vegan noodles. Food was less than subpar and def not worth the wait nor the money. Minus 4 stars for 4 reasons and more. 1. Service was slow like very slow so be prepared to wait if you come here. 2. Food was less than subpar and not worth the time/money. Everything else was either too salty or bland. 3. They never brought our dessert which the girl asked twice if she wanted at the end, we said no, we wanted it right away. They still charged us for it and didnt even apologize when we said they didn’t bring it. Instead they were eyeing our table to make sure we weren’t lying. Bad experience! We have no reason to lie over 3 dollar dessert! They never brought ice upon request. 4. Saw a roach run by… while dinners were eating food. No idea how this place is the highest rated places on the island. Actually, I do because it’s such a small town. It doesn’t have anymore competition. AVOID IF POSSIBLE unless you’re ok with what I have described in this review.
