DOUBLE CHECK YOUR CHECKS BEFORE PAYING!!! Went there for lunch, we told them we are paying for my brother's table next to us. When we received the check we noticed it was much higher than expected. Come to find out they ADDED FOOD WE DIDN'T ORDER!
When we called their attention they took out just one food, an employee gave us a different amount but told them you only took out one item, there were still 4 food you didnt remove. I told them to redo our check. The employee got annoyed and asked us 'asa pa dre ang wala ninyo gikaon maam' I told them they need to figure it out, I refused to pay for any food we didn't eat.
It wasn't a simple mistake of giving us someone else's check. They gave us a 3rd check that contains a combination of our table and my brother's. I saw our food listed but there are others that don't belong. There were commotion at the cashier's area. At least 3 employees came to us about the check. They finally gave us the correct amount and it was P600 less than the first check they gave us. They also don't accept credit or debit card, cash payment only.
So, be warned ahead and keep an eye on your checks...

The cooks knowingly served spoiled noodles, and no one checked it before serving.
I’m never going back here again and I do not recommend this place. Try it at...
Read moreIt’s our first time at Mandarin Tea Garden, dine in for three. We’ve ordered lots and weren’t able to finish the lumpia, beef wanton and siomai. Asked the server to have it to go. She told me to put the food in a plastic cellophane? I told here “you don’t have containers? She replied there’s a charge, 8 pesos per container. I was shocked! Seriously? Isn’t it the responsibility of every restaurant to provide FREE containers in case you have leftovers you want to take home? I paid 1,729.35 for the food plus 16 pesos for the containers. Only in the Philippines I have to pay for to go containers! Such a rip-off!...
