Unpleasant Experience and Lack of Concern for Hygiene

I had a very disappointing experience on January 5, 2025. I ordered sisig and longanisa, and while eating, I noticed a fly on my sisig. I immediately informed one of the service crew members, but to my surprise, she didn’t seem to recognize the urgency of the situation. The lack of response to a basic hygiene issue, especially involving food, was really concerning.

I paid for my meal and was about to leave when I noticed they hadn’t even bothered to remove the affected sisig from their display. This was especially troubling given that I’ve been diagnosed with ameba, and now I have to take extra care to replenish my system after consuming food that was clearly contaminated.

On top of this, the spoon and fork I was given had oil on them, as if they hadn’t been washed properly. The whole experience was unprofessional, and it’s clear that hygiene isn’t a priority for this establishment.

I’ve been to many Karenderyas, but this is by far the worst experience I’ve had, and I won’t be coming back. I hope this review serves as feedback for the management to improve their standards, especially regarding cleanliness and...

The place offers dine in , takeouts and deliveries available on Grab and Foodpanda and since I live only a couple blocks away from this place most of the time I do takeouts. They add extra vinegar on most menus like squid/pork chicken adobo which I don't like but other food choices are good. Overall the place is clean and they got friendly server too.
