SKEWERS DUMAGUETE — Restaurant in Dumaguete

The place is cute as you can see from pictures. The food is probably the worst you will find in dumaguete or let's say maybe i went for the wrong menu item.

This was my second time dining in this place and the first time the chicken was dry and tasteless. I do not want to go back there but my wife convinced me that she wanted to try the place.

I was excited to try something else this time so i pick korean style chicken as suggested by the waitress. My wife picked the same meal as well.

WAITING TIME The waiting time is enough to travel to the moon and back. So you would think good food takes time to prepare but hey wait for the surprise.

OH! FINALLY IT IS DELIVERED The food will either be tasteless or over spiced. So you know how good the food was, my wife did not do more than 4 scoops. Korean style is just an excuse they use to give you two pieces of meat in mashy, chewy vegetables. Don't get me wrong korean food is very good but when they use the name and deliver something else it gets boring.

RECOMMENDED IMPROVEMENTS Be consistent not too salty today, then too spicy tomorrow. Work on improving your preparation time to avoid too much waiting.

WHY TWO STAR RATING One star for the cleanliness and beauty of the place and the other for the beer which was cold. EDIT- The shake was super nice.

I am so glad we found this local place it is the best so far since we moved in Negros Oriental.

Service is outstanding , you don't have to wait for them to look at you to order, they pay attention to you all the time, takes order and serves them very efficiently, the staff are constantly working, cleaning the bottles, tables, checking in on customers, just so wonderful and very professional overall.

Food is so delicious! Proper Filipino food finally I'm the Philippines! We have the shrimp skewers, pineapple & bacon skewers, the SISIG is soooooo good! And we also had lechon kawali which is so yummy!

Prices are cheap and very reasonable but the quality of the food is not comprised at all.

The drinks are amazing the beers are ICE COLD, GIN and tonic was so good with calamansi and they made me the best ever mango shake no sugar, no milk, just loads of naturally sweet mangoes which I requested extra for and the staff was quick to cater and very happy to accommodate.

The place is clean, tables are clean, they have rock ice and crushed ice, the ambiance is very nice.

We are definitely coming back thank you...

Good food, nice place, and affordable. The staff was missing the whole time though. You know that feeling when you are enjoying your meal and the rice ran out and you had to wait until your appetite is gone? I experienced that here. You can hear them at the back giggling, laughing, and talking so they wont hear you unless you yell. It's the same thing when we were done and wanted to pay. No one is at the counter.
