We will never go back to this location even though it's much closer to our homes. Went there with another couple who already has two very bad experienced. We arrived near closing time at 8pm. Rather than suggest going to their other restaurant, they decided to start us. Several of the things we ordered weren't available, most likely because it was the end of the day. We quickly placed our ordered and asked to get the bucket of 4+1 beers right away, but they only had two choices. So we ordered Pilsen. 4 were delivered after a very long wait and asking twice. The finally served them, minutes before our food arrived... Already opened and no Buckley! We explained we didn't want all of them opened and to please return the other two and bring a bucket with ice and 3 unopened beers. Sorry sir, we only have 4 available. What about our 5th been? Sorry sir we only have red horse. Ok fine bring that, so they did. Already opened again! Ma'am where is our squid... Sorry no stocks. Ok fine, bring the tocino. Sorry unavailable. Will there be a discount? No because they are already free (look at the menu photo. Not free) We were nearly finished eating, and two items still hadn't arrived: nachos supreme and a steak. The water said let me check. He didn't. Now the bill arrives and we're not yet finished eating. The two items weren't on the bill. We called for the manager who explained those items weren't available. Why weren't we told? Yes that's our mistake. We should've told you. She continued to blamed everything on new staff and offered no discount, voucher, free dessert... Nothing. We were very polite and respectful but all she could do was make excuses. I asked her why they didn't suggest we go to north point, rather than gives us few menu options and hurried service. She agreed that would've been better.
The food was ok and as expected (albeit lacking), but the service was awful. My friend's wife's birthday was a big disappointment and I'm sure she felt bad for choosing Moons, especially since her husband tried talking her out of it, but alas, Moons Café was their first date 10 years...

We are good tippers, esp. by Filipino standards and have never left a 0 tip in our lives. 3 stars is generous. With other options in the mall such as Sans Rival and many others, there is no reason you should ever go to this place in its current state or mismanagement. Without this post looking like a rant, I'll just finish with a general list of issues we encountered. Not serviced by a waiter, we were blamed by the hostess for the lack of service, server never identified to us throughout, utensils not provided, pork fat on two separate dishes not cooked/rendered, napkins not provided and had to take from other table, no pre-bussing or follow up once we received our meal, blue margarita was food coloring not blue curacao (blue tongues), couldn't get server to present check.
