Manhattan Suites Inn — Hotel in Dumaguete

Fantastic value for money! For less than PHP2000, room is spacious enough for vacationers with big bags. The bed and sheets are clean and smells nice. They have slippers (just be careful when you step on wet floor as it offers no grip at all) available in the room. Surprisingly, the free soap smells nice. They also provide 2 pieces of shampoo and conditioner tubes. I didn't try it though. The toilet is clean and the hot water is legit (meaning, it's actually working).

The hotel has a restaurant. I didn't try the food though (it's Dumaguete and there's a lot of restaurants to try). But I ordered the "brewed coffee" which tasted too bitter and I really think it was an instant coffee.

The hotel also has a smoking area at the side near 7Eleven. Another feature I really appreciate about this hotel are the shops just outside the hotel. You got a 24hour convenience store, drug store and for a couple of steps away, the Robinson's Place Dumaguete! It may not be in the city proper but I think there's enough tricycle to ensure I can get to anywhere around the city.

Definitely a great place to stay when you're in Dumaguete! Its location is near Ceres Bus Terminal. The hotel is beside 7-11 and behind Robinsons Dumaguete. You can go yo the boulevard or downtown to see the parks, belfry, the Cathedral and Silliman University by riding a tricycle at P8.00 per head per trip. The hotel offers laundry service at P50/kg which I availed. Add P40/kg if you want your tops and pants to be ironed. I would have given it a 5☆ had the food server not made face when they erratically served our breakfast at our room instead of at the lobby. For their price, their hotel is perfect. The room especially the toilet is very clean, with big cabinet, refrigerator, daily h20 compliment, clean and white linens and towels with toiletries, near Ceres bus line, Robinsons Dept. Store. The Mercury drug, 7/11 and PNB is also in the same bldg area so the place is really convenient. It is also near Kabayan Rent a car, hardware. Just choose rooms at the center and fronting RDS. It is also not that far from the cathedral and Siliman University. The hotel staff are also very accommodating and grants every request we made. They also have a drinking water supply 24/7 in the lobby. I would surely go back...
