I’ve been to GroundZero twice in the past 3 months, and have had really pleasant experiences for both instances. My first visit was at lunchtime so it was a little busy, but my second and recent visit was for dinner (past 8) so there weren’t a lot of people around and servers were more focused on our group. Food: One of the dishes I really enjoyed here is their version of Pork Sisig. It has a strong vinegary taste which really goes well with the crispness of the sisig, along with the chicharon bits. Their Asian Napa Salad is also quite enjoyable. I felt very so-so about the chicken wings, while the truffle pizza was visually appealing but not as delectable as I imagined. The Crispy Chicken sandwich was good but not unique, though I did enjoy the bun as it was the right amount of toasted. I also really liked their timpla of the Mocha Frappe. Service: The service here is okay, some points could see some improvement but the current state of things is not-bad. Ambiance: There’s not much to see outside as it’s on a busy street, but the interior decor is not bad. Very spacious, with an industrial meets nature sort of feel. Parking: There’s parking outside, which is not exactly ample considering how many people can be seated inside, but good enough. About 4-5 cars can maybe fit outside, apart from the motorcycle space. Price: The prices here may be a little more on the expensive side if you’re thinking about size versus price; but it’s not unreasonable. Our group of 8 ended up paying a little over ₱5k for our meal which consisted of some meals for sharing, and some order-your-own dishes as well as drinks. A 5% service charge is included with the bill.

Me & husband (expat) been coming here few times already, the coffee (cappucino) was good and this time we ordered pancakes with chicken pieces with it (unusual pairing specially for breakfast) the pancake was nice and fluffy but would be nicer if it would be paired with fresh fruits like mango or maybe frozen strawberry/berries compote (since its hard to get a fresh one and expensive too)and pair it with the pancake and some whipped cream on it!And that would be devine! And will come back again & again for that! Also what surprise me was the pancake syrup they serve with it,is way too small for the amount of pancake they serve and when i asked for an extra syrup, which they did but not realizing that they will charge me extra for that small amount of extra syrup that i requested! Such a shame! They should serve more or enough to cover the amount of pancakes they serve...But we did try their other dishes before like the American Breakfast etc they were good. Its just a shame with the pancake that doesn't have a nice pairing with it and not enough syrup 😢

Quiet mid week evening snack, and Ground Zero didn't disappoint. Would return if in need of a carb heavy snack. Although the Quesadillas wasn't 100% as expected, I was pretty impressed by the fried potato chips, which seemed to be made in house. Dining room was well cooled by aircon and there was free wifi. Staff were helpful and service wasn't too long. Although a mid week evening there were other occupied tables, but otherwise fairly quiet. The restaurant was on a quiet street and had parking, but no begging parking attendant, which is good. Dropped a star on food because I found the drinks tasted a bit off, the bubble tea tasted medicinal, and the quesadilla was a bit doughy. Total snack was P960.

Excellent. Our go-to place now in Dumaguete. Already visited 6 or 7 times and never disappointed. Superb welcome and service, a wide choice of drinks and food and prices are very reasonable. Add to that the quality and taste of the food is second to none. Excellent ambience too! Others have been disappointed with the service at breakfast time but perhaps they were just unlucky as we have never experienced that at all. Highly recommended. I can confirm all of the above for the last 3-4 months. HOWEVER, on our arrival on the afternoon of August 1, 2022 there was no greeting, no service, no menu etc for 15 mins. The choice was to stand up to make a loud scene or just leave. We decided to do the latter! The moral of the story: Please don't take your customers for granted otherwise they may not be YOUR customers for very long. In truth, if that was our first visit to Ground Zero it may well have been our last! UPDATE. A really enjoyable experience but every now and again some incredibly naive management decisions. Arrived for coffee one afternoon and found the restaurant virtually empty. All tables were reserved so we were turned away!!! So given that situation a simple sign on the door stating 'closed due to private function' would be acceptable. Secondly, we arrived about 3.10pm so if the function was around 3.30pm, again no problem. However on passing the place at around 5pm there was still nobody at the reserved tables!! Crazy!! Seems like regulars are unimportant compared to a big group so now this gives us the opportunity to explore other coffee shops in the area so perhaps it was a blessing in disguise! You really have a great product Ground Zero but you really need to get your act together. NEW UPDATE: Wifi now back at Ground Zero. šŸ‘. Visit virtually every day, not in small part due to their EXCELLENT female manager and their efficient and friendly staff, especially CAS and JOJO. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! RECENT UPDATE: Arranged for my birthday celebration and must admit it was absolutely FANTASTIC in all aspects. Catering for over 50 people, the choice of food was extensive, the quality was superb, it was exceptional value for money, the service was friendly and efficient and nothing was too big or too small. All in a comfortable and relaxing ambience. 10/10. Guests are now considering their celebrations at Ground Zero. GREAT JOB...

I like that they have variety of food to offer, we order 2 GZ main crispy pata it was crunchy it's great actually. I also love the taste of their three (3) sauce that comes with it. Aside from that we choose the Filipino platter that cost phpĀ  1,460 in terms of the quantity of food its not that many, which I can't recommend if you have a big appetite and their lechon Kawali is just crunchy and it taste bland too. The pork sisig was tasty as well as the tuna belly. The classic buffalo wings is also to try for. For our desserts we try the strawberry cheesecake and the Dark chocolate cheesecake its sweet and yummy. For the drinks we order a glass of Nestea each, it would be more convenient if they can offer a pitcher of it though, and some other sodas.

In terms of the service and ambiance they were able to reserve us table & chairs, food was delivered to our table on time, they offer us water and free wifi for two (2) hours, the surrounding was well lit and ventilated, they have some someone serenading us too. However, We are so disappointed when one of the crew approached us and ask us not to laughed loudly and tone down our voices because one of the client there was annoyed with us. Honestly I don't like how they manage the situation, we were having fun one moment, minding our own business, enjoying our food and updating ourselves with each other and with that one instance, we feel uncomfortable and offended of how they manage the situation. It was actually a public place and not a library. I just don't understand how they expect 10 person to talk in a long table. For those who are foodies and love going out with friends, colleagues or big groups that are outgoing and loud I certainly cannot reccomend this place to dine in. Furthermore if you want to be alone or have some "me time" I suggest you visit Ground Zero. Thank you.

Please note that these are just some of my opinion and how they...
