We were staying at the Goldberry Lite Hotel and had free breakfast included with our stay at The Rabbit Hole. They had a good selection of options to choose from--bacon, native longganisa, ham and egg omelette, hotdog, pancakes, corned beef--typical breakfast fare, accompanied with your choice of juice and coffee, rice or toast, egg, and a fruit slice or two for dessert. Their juice is a bleh concoction of probably something powdered so I recommend coffee instead. Their native longganisa is sickly sweet. The corned beef looks like the cheap canned ones but surprisingly doesn't taste as bad as it looks. Aside from the food the ambience is nice and the decor is classy. We came at around 11:20 on a weekday, and the place was empty. Our drip coffees were served after 10 minutes, which was a little long considering it's just hot water and a drip coffee bag. It took them 20 minutes from our orders were taken before they told us some items were unavailable. The wait after that was so long that it made me wonder if they only had one person cooking on one working stove. Waited 30 minutes for a sizzling tofu plate, which was just a handful of tofu cooked in oyster sauce. It took them 40 minutes to assemble a chicken sandwich. We had breakfast here as part of our hotel stay, and also gave it a chance for dinner one evening—despite the mixed reviews online.

Overall, the value for money is fair, and the staff were polite and respectful throughout. The calamansi frappe was a highlight—refreshing and delicious! Everything we tried was well executed and served hot.

Breakfasts are decent, though it would be nice to have at least two types of fruit to round out the meal.
