It's been two months since they opened and people are flocking this place. Why? They prepare coffee that totally rocks! Turkish, Vietnamese and Italian coffee are served here with appropriate price ranging from 70 up. Must try the Frappes and Chocolate Affogato. It has that coffee taste that you are looking for. They have lots of food choices. And finally the popular Pho of the Vietnamese cuisine is now in ElYu. It's a must have specially during rainy days. Buffalo wings too! Strawberry mango salad is delicious as well. The prices are affordable. I do not recommend the Porterhouse Steak though coz it's expensive and a bit dry (not juicy) also I think the cook forgot to put seasoning. The gravy doesn't have taste good either. The clubhouse I ordered has waayyy toooo many Mayo. The ambiance upstairs is cozy and it has comfortable sofas but it can be very hot during the day. They should improve the airconditioning of this place though electric fans are provided, since La Union has a hot weather, the aircon should be really good specially if you are going to unwind and have some delicious coffee. The balcony/veranda area is a relaxing touch and perfect during dinner. Toilet is available outside and it's made only of wood and steel but it's somehow clean because it doesn't smell at all. They have garden type seats in the first floor outside. Friendly staff.

The Coffee Library in San Juan La Union is a real gem! We were looking for a cool spot with AC (a lifesaver in Elyu heat), and this place hit the nail on the head. It's right on the main road, close to the beach and other stores, making it easy to grab a bite before hitting the waves. The coffee was decent, we tried their Vietnamese and classic iced versions. But the real surprise was the food! Their pork kare-kare was the best we had in all of Elyu, even better than Miryinda! The porkchop was juicy and flavorful, and the prices were super reasonable compared to other places. We loved the fast internet too. I worked for a good four hours there with no hiccups, making it a great option for digital nomads. The servers were friendly and happy to answer our questions about the menu, adding to the good vibes. Overall, The Coffee Library easily made it into our top 3 restaurants in Elyu. It's a must-try spot for anyone looking for a cool café with delicious food, fast Wi-Fi, and friendly service. Just remember, you might be surprised by how good the eats are, they steal the show!

My experience here was probably below average but I’ll still give 2 stars for the design of the shop and the air con. When I entered, I couldn’t find anyone working. After a couple minutes, I noticed a girl crouched down behind the cash register, maybe on her phone. Eventually, another coworker came in and alerted her. They had only a couple Filipino coffee options. I ordered the kapangan, which was served in a small French press. Unfortunately, the coffee didn’t have much taste. I drink Benguet, Mt. Apo, or Barako coffee every day, so I’m accustomed to the bold taste of Filipino coffees. This coffee tasted watery. It definitely needs another scoop of coffee, and maybe fresher beans. Lastly, there are no bread/pancake/muffin/baked goods options here in the morning. So they won’t really appeal to a western palate. I had to get my coffee here and breakfast elsewhere.

Last time I was here was before the pandemic, but it's great to be back! Unfortunately when we were here, power interruptions were happening in San Juan. The coffee shop itself was affected it was hot as there was no AC running. Windows were open to atleast mitigate the heat. Despite all of these the staff attended to our needs in the most professional way. Food were served hot and iced coffees were served cold! Food Presentations were okay. I personallt ordered the Smokey Tinapa and as a tinapa lover it was superb! The Smokey Tinapa flavor is not too much! You can enjoy and appreciate the flavor. The Iced Spanish Latte is also superb. Prices were okay with the serving size, taste, and presentation Must try in San Juan!

Happy that they are still open for Dine-In customers this quarantine season. Good to note that the safety protocols and standards are strictly being observed. I always order their Iced Cafe Sua Da, but for some reason today's coffee was a bit stale. Their strawberry, apple and mango salad is very refreshing. I thought that the ribs does not go well with the side salad as both are sweet in taste profile. But overall, foods are good and filling for its price!;) Just an observation though, their staff were chatting very loudly. We can even hear it on the 2nd floor.

Visited on a Saturday The place has a lot of space. A little noisy if you want a quiet nook to work or study. The staff was courteous and quick. The menu had a lot of items that weren't available and the food arrived one by one. It took a long time before my order arrived and had to follow up with the staff, which knew right away what was missing. The cooking wasn't good. The bread on my grilled cheese sandwich was burnt. And the fries on my companions plate was soggy with oil, most likely overcooked. My lemon iced tea tasted like Nestea instant powder.
