Gefseis is a bit hard to get to / find, but worth it for the food. We had the Lamb Souvlaki wrap, the Moussaka, Kanelonia Beef, Pork Ribs, and an order of the tzatziki dip (we ended up with two of those by the end). Everything seemed reasonably priced and portioned. Mine was the souvlaki, and it was quite good, but it was 10x better with the tzatziki sauce on it. I'm not sure why they don't have gyros here, but that was as close as I could get. The Moussaka and Kanelonia had kind of the same "spaghetti sauce" thing going on and were good but not awesome. Both also benefited from the tzatziki. The Pork Ribs I just had one bite of but holy hell was it awesomely well cooked and seasoned. I'd get that (or try the pork souvlaki) next time I went. The tzatziki dip was FANTASTIC, though it seemed to have some shredded onion in it (maybe?) it didn't suffer for it. I think it was 120p for another roughly two tablespoons of it without pita. I think they should put a dollop of it on every dish ordered for free, really. Every item was better with it on there. The "home brewed iced tea" you can skip. It's not tea by any stretch of the word. Smoking just at the front of the house, so that was easy and nice. Whole place is "outdoors" under a roof, so no aircon or anything. Go in the evening for the sunset over the ocean view. Service was attentive and good. -1 star for not having gyros (the vertical broiler kind with mixed meats... that's what I was really hoping for) and for charging $2.50 for two tablespoons of delicious tzatziki sauce.

We wanted to try the Greek food, and we were not disappointed with the experience at Gefseis Greek Grill and Restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was clean and inviting. We started with the saganaki, which is a classic Greek dish of grilled cheese with brandy. It was perfectly cooked and the cheese was gooey and delicious. For our main course, we had the chicken kebab and the mix souvlaki platter. Both dishes were cooked perfectly and the meat was juicy and flavorful. The sides of rice and pita bread were also fresh and delicious. The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, and he made sure that we had everything we needed. He was also happy to answer any questions we had about the menu. The atmosphere was clean and inviting. The restaurant was well-lit and the tables were spaced apart, which made for a comfortable dining experience. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Gefseis Greek Grill and Restaurant. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Greek food in a clean and friendly atmosphere.

This was our first meal in La Union last long weekend. That only means two things: 1. We were very hungry hungry hippos and 2. This review might be biased due to point number one. So take it with a grain of salt (Gefseis did because their food was extra salty haha) The chicken kebab was good, juicy and there was a good amount of meat on the plate for only 240php. It tasted a bit bitter though, but I guess that's true for most grilled Greek meats. We had to pay extra for the garlic dip, which sucks since it's usually what I look forward to when I eat Greek food. Instead of white sauce, it comes with a barbecue dip. It was okay. We also tried the cheese sticks (forgot the Greek name). It was very salty! But it was good to nibble on while drinking beer. Hummus was also tried, nothing special. Overall, Gefseis made us happy because we were hungry, and the serving was filling for the chicken kebab! The other things we ordered, was all okay but nothing to write home about (funny I'm writing about it anyway)

We had a hard time looking for this place. It's easier to come here from the beach if you're staying in one of the nearby resorts. We were staying in Kahuna and we decided to have our lunch here. The service here is good and fast, the servers are attentive and the owner was accommodating and friendly. The place is really screaming mediterranean because of the decor. Even the music blasting from the radio was mediterranean. Some of the waitresses were wearing costumes too: little white dress with gladiator slippers which I find tacky. Unfortunately we didn't like the food, maybe because we're not used to meditarrenean food? It lacked the taste that a hungry traveler was craving for. It was a bit pricey too. But I recommend their banana yogurt shake, my daughter and my husband loved it so much.

Delicious Greek Feast! The standout dishes were the rich and tasty moussaka (my daughter enjoyed it very much) lamb chops was tender, and flavorful chicken souvlaki. The chicken and beef kebab platter was impressive, but unfortunately, the chicken kebab was slightly undercooked - a few more minutes on the grill would have made it perfection. Overall, the flavors and portions were impressive, and I'd definitely recommend this Greek cuisine to anyone craving authentic Mediterranean delights! Personal Rating - Moussaka: 5/5 - Lamb Chops: 5/5 - Chicken Souvlaki: 4/5 - Chicken Kebab: 3/5 (undercooked chicken) - beef kebab 5/5 - Seafood in tomato sauce and pasta 5/5 - cheesecake & baklava 4/5 Will I return? Absolutely! To try more dishes and hopefully, a perfectly cooked chicken kebab!

They win the best-in-town souvlaka competition by being the only one in town serving souvlaka. If another restaurant does decide to serve the dish, they're gonna have a tough time beating this one. The lamb is soft and flavorful. The bread is a bit chewy but light. The garlic hummus and spicy dip, perfect for the light and flaky fries. Not too salty, perfectly seasoned. The iced tea is iced tea. I hate cinnamon, so I wasn't able to finish their baklava. Otherwise, it's really tasty. The flavors aren't the most kid friendly. It's very strong but not offensively so and it doesn't linger on your tongue. Wait staff are friendly and accommodating. would come back.
