To start, first time ko gumawa ng review, and dont judge our pack, we normally eat at kainans sa may kalye and stuff so we tasted a lot of different things, and by far, this takes the place for the bottom !! Congrats po !!
3 things were honeatly ok: the electric fan💨, yung dog na nasa table na katabi namin, and yung chips na kinain ko after kumain here. Okay so here's what happened ha, we got sit down after mga 4 minutes, then para magorder, kami mismo yung nagcall ng waiter para lumapit. After ordering, we waited for 1 hour 🕐🕑(which was kinda acceptable since fully packed pero they ordered na eh). Ay also, we were like a bigger than average pack so we had to make a table, good thing was tinulungan naman kami ni kuya waiter 😇😇 but like we pointed out that the chairs were wet and he just left us😔😔.... huh? Yeaa, iniwan nya lang kami there with the one ply tissues. Even after our "experience" ended, the dirty tissues we used for wiping the chairs were just beside our plates. Backtrack, the first batch of food arrived, the mussels and the rice. I mean the rice was rice but DAMNNN... the mussels were BAAAAADDD. The mussels had cheese on top which was sour, the mussels were cold 🧊, rubbery (superr), tasted like chicken got bad 🐔😷, and when it turned it backside up, it was white, chalk white to be precise.. As far as i know, it should be atleast orange or like peach or something. So of course, medyo nasad kami kase like 1 hour tas ganun..? So we expected the next one to be better. Spoiler alert: HELL NAHHHH 🔥🔥🗣🗣. I swear to you, the next one that came out were calamares the size of my pinky. Calamares= easy to do... right? Well, they proved it otherwise, it was hard 🪨 and cold..again, mas matigas pa sa floor nila yung calamares. We asked them if we can have another one, so they gave it to us, 4 minutes later, came calamares!! ✨️BIGGER, RUBBERY-ER, HARDER, AND COLDER THAN EVER ✨️ Galing right? Also the calamares was so chewy it can be played with by a dog 💥💥. So next na lumabas is yung kare kare, it was a 2/10 but the mere fact that it was the best dish out of all of them says it all. The sauce was very malapot for a kare kare, and was lacking of taste. Next, the seafood boil was the wrong flavor by a long shot!! Pwede na magshotput world record sa layo 🏆🏆🏆. We ordered cajun, we tasted it it was: SPICY 🔥🔥, SWEET 🍬🍬, REALLY SALTY 🧂🧂, and somehow also MORE SALTY 🧂🧂. Next, the leche flan: super sweet (not in a good way), texture of a cupcake (after being in the ref for like 2 days). Also, when i raised my hand to call the staff to hingi a spoon, a waiter legit looked at me..⏳️..heck even stared at me for like 5 seconds. Then he turned away and continued talking to the others. After i started waving my hands in the air, The waiter who stared at me, just pointed at me and told the girl waiter to help me 🫠. I asked for a spoon and was legit waiting for like 4 minutes, FOR A SPOON, also at this time there were a few packs nalang of people, and the place where the waiters get the sruff are in a single room. Sooo yun lang po, thank you for liatening...
Read moreI won't rate the food in this place because it is so bad. We placed an order for a garlic butter seafood platter. We also ordered Pusit Inihaw. We sat there for about an hour, during which time, a couple left without paying their bill; i should have done the same. The food eventually arrived and looked pretty bad. The seafood was not in garlic butter. It was swamped in oyster psauce. There were prawns, which were ok. The crab was overcooked and tiny, one of them was about an inch and a half wide, it's siblings barely two inches across. The muscles were inedible and tasted of oyster sauce. There was something stringy and rubber like, possibly squid but hard to tell. There were small shellfish, so overwhelming salty it was hard to tell what it was. The grilled pusit was tough and should have been nailed to the bottom of my shoe to prolong the life of my soles. It was awful. We ate as we were so hungry having entered the restaurant hungry and then waiting a further hour for the cold food to arrive. From the outside, this place looks attractive and inviting. In reality, it is pure garbage. I ate here some months ago and had a slightly better experience with the food, but this occasion confirmed what doubt I had about their abilities with food. We paid nearly 1k for the meal and a coke, I really wish I had sent it all back and left. The ice cream we had from a street vendor after was amazing in comparison. Now maybe we ordered the wrong dishes, but consistency and ingredients are essential in food. I reckon the seafood platter ingredients cost no more than 100 pesos. The pusit is cheap in the market but here they charge 300 plus. I will never go back here. Truly garbage cold overpriced food, I should have done a...
Read moreAn average Sunday and family restaurant with pricy local food. We came on a Sunday at 11:20h and the place was already crowded, it took a looooong time to get the attention of the service, coz they are only 2. Customers still coming in which already means we have to wait a while for our food. We ordered SMB Pale Pilsen, we received SMB Light😡😡😡. The calamansi drink was fresh prepared and ice cold compared to the beer😱. Our food order was nothing special, a beef soup, a beef kare kare and a sizzling pork plate. 35min. later we received the soup almost served hot, the beef kare kare we ordered was PORK meat🤬🤮🤬 and served cold and the sizzling pork came at the time we ask already for the bill. All in all you should avoid the place on holidays and weekend peak-time. 40min waiting for food which is already cooked like the soup and the kare kare is unacceptable. We have been also surprised that more service staff shows up after the restaurant was packed with customer and also a cook showed up while customer cueing up outside. Even if we are on the Philippines is COLD food a NO GO!!! Mass food for a...
