Chika-an Cebuano Kitchen - The Outlets at MEZ2 Estate — Restaurant in Lapu-Lapu

I just recently dined at this restaurant, we ordered the set B with a few additional items and here’s what I have observed; the appeal of the food is unappetizing, e.g. the baked scallops is dry and the cheese used was probably cheddar or any orange-color cheese. the chicken meat used for the tinola tasted old stock, evident on the taste of the chicken meat. service staff needs more training in providing quality service, e.g. I asked the waiter if we can change the tinolang manok to buttered chicken because we felt from the start that most of us would prefer the buttered chicken, but the waiter immediately refused the request even if I explained that both dish have the same ala carte price. I even further asked if I can speak with their manager but the waiter cut me saying they have not tried even before such arrangement.

Overall, the dining experience for me was worst!

So, if Im asked why I did not inform the manager or supervisor about these observations, my answer is - from the very start during order-taking, the waiter decided to act that way, thus, I was just returning the favor where I can get back to their lousy food and service...

The food is delicious, waiting time is reasonable we had ordered a lot of food during our last visit. We were eating outside because we brought our fur babies I am not certain whether there is a bathroom inside but common bathrooms are available within the area. It looks spooky but at least the waters are running and the toilet flushes. I didn’t get the chance to take a picture, we were so hungry. Parking space is available, we parked at the back since the free parking area was full, only ₱30 charge. The staff were nice, they proactively recommended to use BPI cards for a limited promo of 20% instead of senior citizen card because it is much lower compared to the BPI card promo.
