Hi, I travel all over the world trying out different restaurants and I always write a review on my experience. So after seeing that this restaurant had a rating of over 4 stars I decided to go give it a try.
My first impression was that it looks quite welcoming as I was greeted straight away when I entered and taken to my table, although there was only one other customer in the restaurant.
I ordered 3 dishes, a soup, (tuna steak which was 50 pesos per 100 grams) and garlic rice and a drink. On receiving my food I went straight in for the tuna steak and realised I got a big piece of bone with about 50 grams of meat on it. I complained to the waiter but he was in no way willing to help with the situation.
The soup was not very tasty, so I just ate the 3 prawns and left the rest, I quickly asked for the bill and left. I think it is unfair to charge a customer for 300 grams of tuna steak when you actually get 50 grams of meat from it.
I was still hungry and had to go to another restaurant to have my lunch.
Needless to say that I will not be returning to the restaurant again and I hope that the owner will not do this to other customers. Where ever I eat I always leave a generous tip for the staff but unfortunately this time I did not.
I gave a 2 star rating because of the welcome I received. Otherwise I would have given a 1 star.. Hope the management sorts this out in...
Read moreThe quality of food here has plummeted. The costs are fair, considering serving sizes. The WORST PART was that we saw a HUGE rat in the middle of our meal. We stopped eating right away. I didn’t want to pay for the food as we didn’t consume even HALF of what we ordered. However, I did end up paying for the full meal. ₱2,700 (two PWD discounts) for 1 450g grilled pampano (good), 4 cups of rice (overpriced), 1 Choobi Choobi fried rice(meh), 10pcs pork bbq (good), 2 cheesy tahong (salty and bad), 1 whole chicken (good but bad gravy), 1 Bicol express (okay), 1 pitcher of four seasons (meh), and 1 pinakbet (exceptional).
We just left, so, still not sure about the future consequences (if any) that we might suffer...
Read moreEating out these days, one will always consider value for money. The food should be worth the price. Choobi-choobi located in The Outlets MEPZ II gives you all that. I have tried eating in most of their outlets within Cebu and they have the best service except in Mactan Newtown, where it's lousy.
Talking about their delicious Filipino dish, try their Black Pepper Shrimp. It has a unique taste that will make you eat even the shrimp skin. It's sweet, crispy and spicy on the outside with a tender shrimp meat inside.
True to their commercial jingle, It's indeed a yummy yummy choobi-choobi.
I give both The MEPZ II and Robinsons Galleria resto outlets a 5 thumbs...
