La Tegola Mactan — Restaurant in Lapu-Lapu

I am Italian from Venice! Tegola is a Venetian dialect term to call the roof tiles. I asked for a pizza 🍕 and as usual I asked to cook the dough first and to add the toppings after the dough was cooked and to cook it back. The pizza was great, the best I had here in Philippines. The place is posh, the service is more than nice and I had been cuddled form an Italian selection of beautiful music. The only black spot was the olive oil! They had refined olive oil that is not healthy at all and not good.

If they change this the place will be a 10/10.

I really want to come back to taste their full menu.

S&R pizza is much better but still not like a slice from home.

Took 5 minutes for the chef and another employee to get me a server to take my order. Maybe he was sleeping or not dressed yet for work.

A very good experience both in terms of food and service. I knew La Tegola in their previous location on several occasions a few years ago, it was already good. The new location is even better in terms of surface and lights. The decoration is obviously following the ideas of Alfredo: truly Italian! And the food too. I appreciate it fully.
