I placed my order through Foodpanda, which remains one of the best food delivery services in the Philippines. The food arrived on time, perfectly handled, and still warm—a great start to the meal. Here’s what I ordered: •    18” Cheese Pizza (16 slices, cheese crust) The pizza was undeniably delicious, with an overload of gooey, melted cheese. The dough was soft yet had that perfect crunch, while the cheese-stuffed crust was absolutely on point. However, the red sauce wasn’t entirely to my liking—it felt a bit overpowering. Still, it was a solid pizza experience. 4/5 | Php 749.00 •    Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings (6 pcs) These wings were an absolute winner! The garlic parmesan sauce was flavorful and well-balanced, making every bite irresistible. Highly recommended. 5/5 | Php 229.00 •    S&R French Fries Despite being a delivery order, the fries remained crisp and fresh—no sogginess in sight! They were rich and seasoned just right. 5/5 | Php 84.00 •    Chicken Baked Roll with Bacon This was suggested by my husband, and I’m so glad I gave it a try. The bread was soft and pillowy, while the filling was rich, savory, and perfectly satisfying. A definite favorite. 5/5 | Php 164.00 •    New York Style Cheesecake A classic cheesecake that delivered on flavor without breaking the bank. It was creamy and indulgent, though not the best I’ve ever had. Still, it’s great value for its price. 4/5 | Php 172.00

Overall, it was a fantastic meal with standout items like the chicken wings and the baked roll. The pizza, fries, and cheesecake rounded out the feast nicely, making this a great delivery experience. Would definitely...

Terrible compared to the BCG one. Worse selection, much worse prices. It was a completely wasted trip to come here, I literally just left without buying anything.

Online also lies about inventory. Their site says they have coffee filters and chia seeds and Kirkland almond butter and peanut butter here, but none of those are anywhere to be found in the entire store.

Frozen blueberries? Pay 1.5x for half the quantity you’d get at BCG.

Beef steaks? Zero steak quality cuts with decent thickness, where BCG has thick cut tenderloin, ribeye, tomahawk and more.

This place’s only saving grace is that through no virtue of its own, it’s by a real store (Shopwise) where you can get most of the stuff they fail entirely at having.

Don’t even bother, go to any other S&R.

Also, don’t bother using the S&R app or website, which has wasted at least 3-5 hours of my life. First by being terribly programmed and unusably slow, forgetting your cart entirely on the same day, emptying your cart entirely if you make any changes to the address, and finally, being so incompetent that they can’t even take your money - I tried four different payment methods, on both the app and the website, and it always errored out, and not in a “we couldn’t take your transaction” way, but like a segfault/crash way where you just get a bunch of terminal style error text on an otherwise blank webpage.

Funny that in addition to knocking off Costco’s layout and business model, they also knocked off having a terrible, nonfunctional online shopping experience, and yet they did Costco one better and made it literally 100% unusable, from either...

I have been more of a frequent visitor of S&R’s fast food as compared to the grocery (which by the way lacks a lot of items as compared to other S&R branches)...anyway, back to the food...

This Covid 19 pandemic has restricted one’s budget and caused people like me to search for less expensive and filling food (never mind the taste! We can sacrifice the taste in times like this!)...S&R can really meet one’s budget and fill a hungry stomach...imagine the pizzas (NYC slices!) the burritos, the sandwiches, the salads, the cheesecakes and lately I discovered the southern fried chicken!...all are priced right for the budget and they do not scrimp on servings!

So next time you get hungry and want to eat a lot at a less expensive price, you now know...
