This review will be on two parts. The food. The deal.
Yamato's bread never fails. It's fresh, baked on site (though the store does lack the smell of toasting flour). They have savory varieties with sausages, bonito flakes, and charsiu even. Their coffee, partnered with UCC is tops. And they also offer various imported juices.
What I did not know is that they have a breakfast promo where for P100 they offer unlimited UCC brewed coffee and one pastry from a breakfast basket.
+5 for food
What irked me most is that the sales lady did not inform me of the promo even after i had ordered a 12oz cup of coffee, single serve, with no free pastries. And that single serve cup costs P110. She did not even bother to tell me when i got to the counter with two pastries from the regular rack.
I only found out about the promo when one of the customers stood to ask for a refill and i inquired about it. Then the sales staff pointed to the promo poster.

I’m also thinking of buying their Hokkaido bread next time. I feel that I’ll visit the store more frequently now, especially that it’s just a walking distance from my office. I’m excited to try their breakfast, pastries and pasta meals. Looking...
