This review will be on two parts. The food. The deal.

Yamato's bread never fails. It's fresh, baked on site (though the store does lack the smell of toasting flour). They have savory varieties with sausages, bonito flakes, and charsiu even. Their coffee, partnered with UCC is tops. And they also offer various imported juices.

What I did not know is that they have a breakfast promo where for P100 they offer unlimited UCC brewed coffee and one pastry from a breakfast basket.

+5 for food

What irked me most is that the sales lady did not inform me of the promo even after i had ordered a 12oz cup of coffee, single serve, with no free pastries. And that single serve cup costs P110. She did not even bother to tell me when i got to the counter with two pastries from the regular rack.

I only found out about the promo when one of the customers stood to ask for a refill and i inquired about it. Then the sales staff pointed to the promo poster.

I haven’t visited Yamato Jupiter Street for months then I’ve heard that they renovated with additional dining space and improved menu. The store looked better and I like how they have new food and beverage choices. Their Maple Cinnamon Latte did not disappoint. I also grabbed mini croissanwich to take home. I’m also thinking of buying their Hokkaido bread next time. I feel that I’ll visit the store more frequently now, especially that it’s just a walking distance from my office. I’m excited to try their breakfast, pastries and pasta meals. Looking...

According to one of their staff, this branch is one of the two left. The one we go to in Ayala Mall the 30th has closed during the pandemic.

They still offer discounted pastries after 7pm. We went here after lunch for dessert. They still offer quality pastries that is light and fluffy. They accept cash and credit card for payment. Parking is outside. There is a guard who assists customers looking for parking. There is no restroom but the cafe is adjacent to another Japanese...

Update: they upgraded their menu. Dishes were good enough. Rating up to 4 stars. Looking forward to more visits. Old review: Sad place for bread and pastries. It taste old and doesnt feel fresh at all. Coffee and cakes are acceptable since they came from UCC. very limited seats too, good for 4-6 people only and I found a cockroach on the other table. Gross! Would not be coming back
