Shinjuku Home of Authentic Ramen Jupiter — Restaurant in Makati

Most Manileños are familiar with Shinjuku, one of the most enduring Japanese restaurants in the Little Tokyo block along Pasong Tamo. It’s still going strong but looking a bit run down and parking can be an ordeal. But I recently discovered that Shinjuku opened a branch along Jupiter Street in Bel Air and it doesn’t disappoint but it’s a totally different vibe. It’s quiet, spacious, with dim lighting. For me a bit too quiet but the food is fresh, the servings are very generous and the service is quick and efficient. This is not the place to look for unusual dishes that you can find in some parts of little Tokyo bit if you’re looking for typical Japanese fare and you want Shinjuku quality food but in a quieter, less crowded...
