We were already assigned and ushered to our table with a great view. We just stood up to get some coffee first and when we returned back to our seat a father and son who is not from the Philippines is suddenly sitting on our place. I went to the staff to settle the situation and when they were with us they were initially requesting us to move instead. It's easy for us to move and change place, yes, but the disparity is showing and they were really hesitant to ask the other party to change place instead of us who were there first. If we didn't stand our ground we were the ones who were transferred to another area which just showed that because our nativity is from the Philippines, they will opt out to push us instead. If this is the kind of treatment they are giving fellow Filipinos it is really unsettling. Though on the bright side, they were apologetic to us but I can't help but put this review as I don't want other people to experience the same. We are all paying to receive the same kind treatment in the hotel and we hope that skin color doesn't dictate how we are...

The Breakfast Buffet in The Market, Mövenpick is amazingly delicious, and one of the best breakfasts I’ve tried. They have a wide variety of breakfast dishes from Filipino, European, American, Chinese and sometimes Korean. My favorites are their pastries. Their Croissant and Danish bread was OHLALA! I asked their staff if I could buy a dozen for me to share to my family back in Manila, and I was so surprised when their team gave me a bag full of Croissant and Pain au chocolat as a good bye gift for my last day of stay in this paradise resort. Their coffee was amazing too. Their breakfast is from 6am-10:30am. You can take your breakfast near the pool side, or in sol marina or anywhere in the resort. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the entire team of The Market in Movenpick. Cheers! I’ll see...

My stay at this hotel has been profoundly disappointing for several reasons. Firstly, the food served is exorbitantly priced yet fails to meet even basic quality standards—the meat dishes, in particular, are consistently dry and lack flavor, making them unenjoyable. Additionally, the customer service is as poor as it can get. Instead of addressing and resolving any issues or concerns, the servers are unresponsive and frequently shift the blame onto me as the customer, refusing to take responsibility or offer any meaningful solutions. This combination of overpriced, low-quality food and abysmal customer service has made my experience here exceptionally frustrating and has fallen far short of my expectations for a...

Waste of money! We had our dinner here on our first night at Movenpick since we don’t want to get out of the hotel area. Turned out it’s a bad choice. The food is really pricey, which I already expect since we are in a 5star hotel anyway, but I was dumbfounded when we tried the food. The food were like just reheated not freshly cooked except for the pansit. It’s really awful I cannot finish it. Really waste of money. We could have had a better meal in a fastfood restaurant. The staff were kind and accommodating and the ambience is also good, a bit quiet maybe because not so many really dine in here for dinner. But yeah the taste of the food is really a turn off. On the other hand, their breakfast buffet is ok.
