Legal Blends Coffee — Restaurant in Mandaluyong

I want to share my recent experience at Legal Blend's Coffee, which left me feeling really frustrated. I usually don’t write reviews, but I felt I had to express my thoughts as a customer.

My siblings and I arrived around 2:30 PM, excited to spend some time at the coffee shop. While the food and atmosphere were okay, we ordered a lot but felt it wasn’t worth it because we were only told at about 3:40 PM that we needed to leave by 4 PM. This last-minute notice was really upsetting since we had already settled in and ordered. It made us feel rushed and uncomfortable.

The service wasn’t great either; we felt like we were bothering the staff, even though we had paid for our food. It would have been helpful if the staff had let us know about any time limits before we ordered. A simple sign or a post on social media would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the service we expected, which added to our frustration.

In short, while the food and setting were fine, the service really let us down. I hope management takes this feedback seriously to improve things for future customers. As it is, we won’t be coming back or recommending this...

I visited this cafe because it seemed to be the ideal study cafe for students/checked all my boxes: outlets, free wifi, affordable food, tables and chairs ideal for work and study, and quiet ambience.

Unfortunately, right after I ordered and got to work, the wifi was very slow despite being 5G. Slightly disappointed but I made do with hotspot.

My main issue and reason why I'm leaving this review are the lights. They were too many and too bright, and they all reflected off of my screens. I couldn't see properly for around 15-30 minutes, then a migraine followed soon after. I'm nursing that migraine even now as I'm typing. I think this should be addressed especially for the sake of students and workers.

Another perfect spot to finish those work duties, grind on those academic requirements, attend those online meetings, catch up with friends, or to spend your own precious me-time! Atmosphere-wise, the well-lit place gives a relaxed aura that will surely allow you to accomplish your daily tasks or to unwind from a heavy workload. There are outlets available to charge tour devices and a cozy restroom for your health break. Now let’s go with the drinks: both iced coffee and fruit teas are exceptionally good. Can’t wait to go back here to try the other drinks. Food: we loved the biscoff cream cheese cake (is the name right)? Perfect sweetness that paired well with our drinks.
