Makati Riverside Inn — Hotel in Makati

This place is VERY clean, no roaches which is a HUGE plus. The people working are surface friendly, which is really all you need as a hotel employee. You kind of get the family vibe. I was planning on staying several months here but I had a bad situation that happened and since security is very important to me I cannot recommend staying here. While I was gone one night someone had entered my room. I asked the manager if I could see the CCTV footage and he said yes just come back tomorrow. When I returned the next day to the counter it appeared they were reviewing the footage and I was told I no longer could see it due to privacy concerns (even though it only shows guests entering, leaving or breaking into a room.) Later I was told that they never viewed it due to not having access to it and later I was told they had it but it was deleted so I'm not sure which is the truth. They told me as well that the public cannot retrieve the CCTV footage without the police and they saved them for 30 days. So I had to spend an entire day going through the legal process just to obtain the footage only to get a "It's been deleted" answer when we showed up with the police. Also when we showed up with the police there was a new employee that was laughing at the whole situation and I got a little upset with her, I hope she is reading this bc I would like to apologize for what seemed rude. But basically,, if safety isn't your main or close to the top priority then this may be a good place for you but if you're concerned with your safety, you should keep looking. It's odd that someone was inside my room, no forced entry signs, then the CCTV footage was deleted and I received 3 different...

LOCATION - good. convenient. Located across from Makati Museum, behind Poblacion Covered Court. One way road was very narrow, the inn had a round sign and the gate is covered in plants.||||Convenient walk to main road (less than 1 min) for Grab pick-up in front of Poblacion Covered Court to go to any mall - SM/Glorietta/Ayala, etc.||||ROOM - very clean desk/table, floor, bed, wardrobe, the mini fridge (spilled some food inside and was confident enough to just pick it up and eat it anyway haha), toilet (shampoo and soap provided, good water pressure). Shower heater and AC was working well - also had a small ceiling fan. It was a very comfortable size for me and my husband with natural light coming from the window. ||||Rooms are cleaned upon request but I see them every day, multiple times a day cleaning common areas/staircase. ||||AMENITIES - Strong stable wifi even during typhoon. Glasses, cups, mini fridge and safe available in-room. No kettle but you can get water from the dispenser in the lobby and make coffee (creamer provided, no milk). They had a small outdoor seating area (for smoking) and small indoor area in front of reception both with tables and chairs.||||STAFF - Service staff very attentive and accommodating especially if there's availability for early check-in, late check-out (100php/extra hr)....

Rooms are cleaned upon request but I see them every day, multiple times a day cleaning common areas/staircase.
