OYO 857 City Stay Inns Makati Avenue — Hotel in Makati

Booked this property last minute since I will be coming from Cavite to attend the Miting De Avance of VP Leni and Kiko last May 7 in Ayala Avenue Makati. Arrived earlier at 11am, asked the frontdesk if possible to check in early for an extra charge so I didnt mind to pay an extra 500 PHP plus extra 500 PHP for an extra person.||||Anyway to sum it up, ended the event and went back to the property to rest, eat and call it a night. ||||However around 12am, electricity dropped off. Initially, I thought it was the whole area but apparently after an hour I went down to check and only to find out that the issue was with their circuit breaker.||||Personally, I am quite familiar how to fix it but due to my tiredness and the fact that I might damage any wirings and be accountable to such things, I opted to stay out of it.||||Instead, I checked out around 2am and asked my incidental deposit. I booked a private car going back home to Cavite because I am so tired, stress and my asthma is about to kick in. The driver I booked has arrived but the receptionist was not proactive enough to offer the most convenient way to ease my stress by refunding back my deposit so there was a back and forth of calls between the receptionist on duty at the time of my check in and check out.||||Wont stay again. Plus there is bidet and toilet flush...

For the price it's a great deal. There's hot water, a kettle to heat water for cup of noodles or whatever. Bathroom is small, I'm a big guy, but I was ok with it. I really didn't use the service at all. But the people i did speak to were polite. Mattress was very firm but pillows were nice and blanket was like a comforter. The air conditioner was small, but got the job done. There's a table and one chair in the room. There's several stores walking distance from there, pretty not close to moa or the embassy if you plan on going there. If you do plan on using this place use the cell phone app GRAB to get around. The taxis there are the worst. It takes about 10 mins for a driver to accept your ride, but I'll take that over the taxi any day. I would use this place...

Stayed here for two nights and was well worth the money. We were greeted at the hotel pleasantly by Rowell Ronald who made our stay worthwhile and gave us great hospitality, he is doing a fantastic job. We were allowed to check in an hour early as the room was already made for us. Complimentary water as well. Clean towels and a hot shower, bed is also comfy. Very good location close to the centre of Makati and good nightlife. Only negative was the bathroom window wouldn’t close, but it was only small. Would definitely recommend and...
